Local Las Vegas Businesses Team Up to Host First-Ever Costume Contest Charity Golf Tournament Oct. 19
Proceeds Will Benefit The Mayor’s Fund For Las Vegas LIFE
GoBEST!, Larry Flynt’s Hustler Club Las Vegas and Cat’s Meow are teaming up to host the first-ever Costume Contest Charity Golf Tournament benefiting the Mayor’s Fund For Las Vegas LIFE!
Participants will enjoy a round of golf, lunch, a costume contest with prizes for first, second and third place, a silent auction and a cash bar. The inaugural Gemini Celebration Charity Golf Outing that took place on June 10, 2023 (proclaimed Harry Mohney Day by Mayor Carolyn Goodman) raised over $100,000 for the Las Vegas Metropolitan Foundation’s Save-A-Life In Our Community PAD Program.
The goal is to raise $400,000 for the program by the end of the calendar year.
From the time of a cardiac arrest episode, there is a six-minute window between life and death with law enforcement being the first to arrive at the scene in approximately three minutes. The goal is to ensure that each squad car has access to an Automated External Defibrillator (AED) along with the ongoing support, education and training needed to save lives.
When: Saturday, October 19, 2024. Registration begins at 7:30 a.m., silent auction begins at 8 a.m. and tee time is at 9 a.m.
