The Stratosphere Casino in Vegas had always been a venue at which you could be assured of finding low-priced rooms, but under its previous ownership, it had sadly begun to show its age with no real investment made into bringing the venue up to date.
It was only when Golden Entertainment bought the property along with several others, including the Arizona Charlies properties in Decatur and Boulder, along with the Aquarius Casino over in Laughlin a few years back, that a commitment was made to give The STRAT as it is now known the TLC and investment it needed to bring it back to life.
With a huge budget available, no expense was spared to completely remodel the venue, and whilst having had to cope, like all other casino resorts, with the pandemic, the investment made is finally beginning to bear fruit.
Whilst there was nothing that could be done about the location of The STRAT, a great detail of attention was given to the layout of the venue, with a rollout of refurbishment which saw the gaming floor especially being given a new lease of life it really has become a great looking place and one which is packing in gamblers and guests.
Visitors both old and new are now greeted with a fresh-looking gaming floor and one on which all the latest slot machines can be found, which makes a big difference to their gaming experience, for prior to the remodeling The STRAT’s slot machine estate was looking tired and completely out of date.
Gone is the old loyalty club scheme, which was replaced by the True Rewards Club, allowing guests of The STRAT to use their cards and comps at any Golden Entertainment-owned property.
One aspect of staying at The STRAT that customers appreciate is that they have kept their room rates very reasonable and whilst there are the dreaded resort fees to include in the cost of any stay, they are remarkably low when compared to most other nearby casino resorts.
No visit to The STRAT would be complete without a trip up the Tower and the new owners have kept the thrill rides at the top of that tower, but expect to have to pay to get up there.
If you are seeking out a low-priced casino resort at which to stay on any upcoming trip to Vegas then do consider staying at The STRAT. Its location has often put people off staying there but with the advent of Uber and the reliable public transport offerings, getting out and about is never going to be difficult or expensive.
If you are looking for even lower priced accommodation when visiting do consider staying at one of their sister properties, for whilst they have not had the investment The STRAT has had, you will be hard-pressed to find similar properties with the low room rates offered.
However, if you haven’t yet visited The STRAT or haven’t stayed there in quite some time then make sure you pencil in some time to do so for you will certainly be impressed by the changes.
Some gamblers are now choosing to gamble from home or play casino games completely free of charge at the many different casino sites available such as over at Jackpotjoy and its partner sites, but if the truth be known, nothing can replicate a trip to Las Vegas.
