Circa Resort & Casino has acquired an impressive and extensive list of famous faces who have visited the new downtown Vegas property. It’s time to add four more names to that list!
Recently, some Supernatural stars made their presence known (in the most non-spooky way possible) at the acclaimed celebrity hotspot.
The award-winning fantasy drama’s very own Winchester brothers (Jared Padalecki and Jensen Ackles) were spotted at Circa alongside co-stars Misha Collins (Castiel) and Jake Abel (Adam Milligan). They were in town for Creation Las Vegas, a multiple-day convention located at The Rio All-Suites Hotel and Casino, where the hit show’s biggest fanatics have the opportunity to receive autographs, photos, and Q&As from the talented actors themselves!
On Saturday, they had some free time on their busy schedules and decided to hit up the UFC Apex and catch Strickland vs. Imavov. Once the action-packed fights concluded, the Supernatural cast kick-started their own main event at Barry’s Downtown Prime, a star magnet of a restaurant, located inside of Circa. Casino executive Richard Wilk escorted Jared, Jensen, Misha, and Jake onto the premises and was eager to show the guys an unforgettable time at the groundbreaking resort.
While dining at Barry’s, the famous four received the ultimate VIP treatment. Steakhouse namesake/co-owner, Chef Barry Dakake himself, had the pleasure of personally preparing, cooking, and serving them some signature dishes. The actors indulged in a sliced 12 oz. family-style rib cap, and sautéed Dover sole in a baby gulf shrimp lemon butter sauce. As for sides, they salivated over some delicious whole Maine lobster mac ‘n’ cheese.
One rule that celebs like to follow while chowing down at Circa Las Vegas: if you’re having dinner at Barry’s, always save room for dessert. The TV stars did just that, and the chef took his presentation to the next level with a tableside fire. Chef Barry served the group a mouth-watering classic – baked Alaska paired with a raspberry-flavored Paris-Brest.
The guys agreed that the restaurant co-owner went above and beyond to provide them with a top-notch experience, but the fun wasn’t over yet! Barry guided them to the back of the steakhouse, and into his own “supernatural” retreat – the kitchen! That is where all of the magic happens, after all. After being shown the ins and outs of the kitchen, they all huddled up for a photo with Chef Barry Dakake, and thanked him for a dining experience that was next to none.
Next up – a full tour of Circa! There’s definitely a lot to cover, so Richard Wilk didn’t waste any time. The casino executive walked them up to the first level casino, where they stopped at Mega Bar, the longest indoor bar in Nevada (spanning a whopping 165 feet)!
After being mesmerized by the lengthy high-energy bar and its talented flair bartenders, they were introduced to the hotel’s CEO/owner, Derek Stevens, who was seated at the end of Mega Bar checking out the Saturday night sports. The casino owner greeted the stars with open arms, offered them drinks, and posed for several photos on the busy casino floor!
Following their meeting with the CEO, Mr. Wilk then escorted them up to the iconic Stadium Swim – Las Vegas’ only year-round pool amphitheater consisting of six heated pools, thirty cabanas, and a 143-ft. screen made of 14 million engaging pixels. Jared, Jensen, and Jake were completely at a loss for words as they laid their eyes upon this one-of-a-kind sight. However, Richard informed them, “wait until you see the world’s largest sportsbook,” and downstairs they went.
As they returned to the casino level, their heads immediately turned as their peripheral view caught a glimpse of this three-story sportsbook, and the largest sports betting experience in the world. As Richard told them that the sportsbook screen consists of 78 million pixels, a collective gasp escaped their mouths while they tried to take in all of the games being shown at once.
Then, it was time to blow their minds once more. The three Js eagerly ventured all the way up to Circa’s top level. As the elevator doors opened, they stumbled upon the best views of the Las Vegas valley that they could ever imagine at Legacy Club – an elegant rooftop cocktail lounge located on the resort’s 60th floor. Jared, Jensen, and Jake soaked in the city sights as Richard took them onto the outdoor patio. While mingling up there, they introduced themselves to the hotel’s Player Development Director, Whitney Godard.
All throughout the stars’ Circa escapade, fans couldn’t help but recognize the Supernatural actors. Who can blame them? Considering this award-winning series lasted for fifteen years, fifteen seasons, and 327 episodes, it’s absolutely no surprise that the show’s giant fanbase is as die-hard as they can get!
