Downtown Las Vegas Brings the Party with Green Beer, Festive Cocktails, Irish-Inspired Meals and Celtic Punk Performances
It’s time for a wee bit of mischief! Downtown Las Vegas is leading the charge on St. Patrick’s Day with Circa Resort & Casino, the D Las Vegas, Golden Gate Hotel & Casino and Downtown Las Vegas Events Center (DLVEC) offering partygoers delicious food, festive drinks and serious craic on March 17.
The four downtown hotspots will move to the beat of the Celtic drum with nine holiday promotions. Guests can enjoy luck-inspired libations such as the Irish D’Lite at the D; pints of flowing green beer available at select bars across the properties; a green Hogstravaganza at Circa’s Project BBQ; live performances from Celtic Punk legends at the Shamrock Rebellion at DLVEC; a free t-shirt giveaway and more.
Details on downtown Las Vegas’ St. Patrick’s Day events are below:
Circa Resort & Casino
Downtown Las Vegas’ adult-only casino resort will bring the spirit of the shamrock alive with various food and beverage offerings, including:
- Vegas Vickie’s Cocktail Lounge: Take a seat next to the kicking cowgirl herself and sip on hand-crafted cocktails at Vegas Vickie’s Cocktail Lounge. Guests can try libations such as the Emerald Isle cocktail with a blend of Jameson Orange, Midori, cucumber, lime and ginger beer; or the Belfast Brew featuring Jameson Cold Brew, Baileys, Ramazzotti, espresso and Guinness.
- Bar Offerings: No St. Patrick’s Day is complete without green beer. Raise a glass of the emerald beverage at Circa Bar or take a shot of the Irish Spark Plug – made with Jameson, Baileys and cold brew coffee – at Mega Bar and Overhang Bar.
- Victory Burger Wings & Co.: Patrons can do a jig on the way to Victory Burger Wings & Co. to grab the Andes Mint Shake. The blend of vanilla ice cream and mint filled dark chocolate candy is a sweet treat available all month long.
- Project BBQ: Hold onto your clovers because Project BBQ is throwing a Hogstravaganza – an entire roasted pig will be dyed green in the spirit of the holiday. St. Patrick’s Day fans can also feast on Chef Rex’s Corned Beef Sandwich, made with tender slices of corned beef between Project BBQ’s signature steak roll.
- Saginaw’s Delicatessen: Pinch tight on a fully packed Reuben at Saginaw’s Delicatesen. The famous Royal Flush Reuben is filled with corned beef, sauerkraut, swiss and hand-made Russian dressing. For a smaller fare, David’s Reuben Poppers are a deep-fried treat that tastes like gold.
the D Las Vegas
The good times and green beer continue to flow at D Bar at the D Las Vegas. For a more festive concoction, revelers can request the Irish D’Lite at available at BarCanada and Longbar.
Golden Gate Hotel & Casino
Golden Gate Hotel & Casino has been partying since 1906 and was the hub for countless St. Patrick’s Day bashes. This year, celebrants can toast with green beer at OneBar.
Club One Player’s Club
The hottest loyalty club is giving away a swanky souvenir for anyone who is feeling lucky. Players can receive a free t-shirt by earning 100 points from playing Slots or Video Poker or by betting $100 on table games, live keno and Circa Sportsbook wagers. Once a patron hits those golden numbers, they can pick up their t-shirt from a Club One desk at one of the three properties.
