John Katsilometes Hosts Kenny Davidsen Bow Tie Cabaret Fundraiser at Tuscany Suites & Casino, Nov. 25
This Fall, Nevada men have been hoping to change the future and save lives from breast cancer. They are not politicians, not Hollywood superstars –they are true-life heroes who are allied in the fight against breast cancer.
These remarkable everyday heroes hope to generate more than $150,000 to fund a future free from breast cancer through the Real Men Wear Pink Las Vegas Campaign.
Tonight, Las Vegas Review Journal’s Reporter and Real Man Candidate, John Katsilometes, is hosting a fundraiser, Kenny Davidsen’s Bow Tie Cabaret at Tuscany Suites & Casino in the Piazza Lounge from 9 p.m. – 1 a.m.
The event is themed with “songs by the numbers” and includes several performers, such as Anne Martinez of “Bat Out of Hell, and Enoch Augustus Scott of “Zombie Burlesque.”
The event is complimentary, yet guests are encouraged to donate to http://main.acsevents.org/goto/jkats. Katsilometes has been a supporter for several years aiding in both awareness and monies towards eradicating cancer.
Breast cancer does not just affect women. Not only are more than 2,700 men in the US diagnosed this year, but so are more than 287,500 of their daughters, wives, mothers, sisters, and friends. In 2022, more than 68,000 women and men are expected to die from the disease nationwide.
Ambassadors are raising awareness and funds to support Real Men Wear Pink by committing to raising at least $2,500 each and wearing pink.
This campaign is designed to engage more male community leaders and influencers in the mission to eliminate breast cancer.
“I lost my mother and so many dear friends to breast cancer and I believe I am in a position to make a difference in my community. I believe that by raising money and awareness through Real Men Wear Pink I am honoring not only those we have lost but also those we love who are survivors or currently fighting to survive. I’m stepping up with all I have to help save more lives from breast cancer.” – Gordon Prouty is our Pink Champion Ambassador for 2022.
Gordon alongside many others like Nick Gushue with Martin-Harris Construction, Dr. Arsalan Salamat and Dr. Carl Allen with Optum, Christian Clinton with The Art Houz, Tim Deters with True Development, and multiple candidates from Caesars Entertainment Power in Pink campaign including Patricia Velasco, Matt Deering, Teri King, Christopher Carraher, Amber Herrington, Louie Maione, Brandi Ellis, and Ryan Bishop.
