Touring comics Jack Jr., Nick Guerra, TRIXX, Quinn Dahle and Paul Ogata will hit the Dragon Room stage, joining the award-winning club’s regular lineup
L.A. Comedy Club has announced a hysterical September lineup for the club’s custom new Dragon Room showroom at The STRAT Hotel, Casino & SkyPod. Headlining the club’s 8 p.m. spot are Jack Jr., Nick Guerra, TRIXX, Quinn Dahle and Paul Ogata, with additional comics to be announced whose combined credits span NBC, HBO, Showtime, Comedy Central, CBS and more. The club’s lineup of popular resident comics includes James Michael’s Redneck Comedy Variety Show at 6 p.m.; comedian Butch Bradley at 10 p.m. Thursday through Monday; and comedian Bret Ernst at 10 p.m. on Tuesday and Wednesday.

The L.A. Comedy Club, dubbed “The younger rebel brother of Improv” by Casino Player Magazine, has been entertaining Las Vegas locals and visitors since 2007. Known as the spot “where comedy comes to party,” the repeat “Best of Las Vegas” gold award winner recently relocated its famed Dragon Room to a custom-built 270-seat showroom on the main casino floor at The STRAT Hotel, Casino & SkyPod.

- 6 p.m.: James Michael’s Redneck Comedy Variety Show
James Michael, Mississippi native, is a part-time tattoo artist, fitness model and comedic magician. Known for his sleight of hand, comedic timing and fun antics on stage, Michael has brought laughs around the world for more than 30 years by means of cruise ships, corporate functions and television shows. Michael’s sleight of hand, comedy and sheer country madness has placed him as one of Las Vegas’ top 10 magicians for three consecutive years and has been awarded the silver medal winner of the best magic show in Las Vegas in 2020.

- 10 p.m. Thursday through Monday: Butch Bradley
Comedic veteran, Butch Bradley, grew up in Atlantic City, New Jersey and started his comedy career by becoming a founding member of the Boston Improv Troupe. Bradley has been the opening act for comedic legends like Ray Romano, Lewis Black and Cathy Ladman and has appeared on HBO, Comedy Central, has been a regular on “The Late Late Show” and toured festivals such as the Aspen Rooftop Comedy Festival, the Montreal Just for Laughs Comedy Festival and made an appearance as a USO Entertainer. Bradley was named Best Comedian 2020 by “Best of Las Vegas.” Bradley’s comedy special, “Butch Bradley: From Las Vegas” is currently available on Amazon Prime. He can also be seen on the big screen in the upcoming film “Reagan” starring Dennis Quaid.
- 10 p.m. Tuesday and Wednesday: Bret Ernst
Bret Ernst, born and raised in New Jersey, was one of four comedians featured in “Wild West Comedy Show: 30 Days and 30 Nights—Hollywood to the Heartland,” has appeared on television shows like “Comedy Central Presents,” “The Late Late Show with Craig Ferguson,” “Weeds” and has a recurring role on Netflix’s hit series, “Cobra Kai.” Ernst’s jokes are rooted in storytelling, giving the audience an inside look at the life of a typical North Jersey Italian kid in the 1980s.

Jack Assadourian, known as Jack Jr. on stage, grew up in the comedy scene as the son of comedy club owners and featured for big names in comedy including Marlon Wayans, Damon Wayans, Jr. and David Spade. In 2019, he was a finalist on the NBC series “Stand Up” and has appeared in comedies including “50 Shades of Black” as well as on Amazon’s series “Laugh After Dark” and documentary “Make America Laugh Again.”
- Monday, September 5 through Sunday, September 11: Nick Guerra with special guests
Nick Guerra made his television debut on the Comedy Central show “Stand Up Revolution with Gabriel Iglesias,” made his late night debut on the “Tonight Show with Jimmy Fallon,” was a fan-favorite on NBC’s “Last Comic Standing” and won NBC’s “Stand Up Showcase” in 2015. Guerra also starred in his own HBO half-hour comedy special “Love Me At My Worst,” Dry Bar comedy special “Enjoy Life” and has released his own comedy album “Love: The Nick’s Tape” which is available on iTunes.
- Monday, September 12 through Sunday, September 18: TRIXX with special guests
Frankie Agyemang, known as “TRIXX,” earned his name from being a prankster while growing up in Mississauga, Ontario. Having his first successful one-man show “Mistrial” in July 2009, TRIXX has been non-stop in his pursuit for big laughs in the comedy world. He was a finalist in “The Great Canadian Laugh-Off” and winner of “Just For Laughs: JFL42 Big Break Competition” in 2013. TRIXX has opened for stars such as Tracy Morgan from “30 Rock,” Damon Wayans from “In Living Color,” Cedric the Entertainer, Mike Epps from “The Hangover” series, Aries Spears from “MADtv,” Sugar Sammy from HBO’s “Canada” as well as for his good friend and mentor, Russell Peters.
- Monday, September 19 through Sunday, September 25: Quinn Dahle with special guests
Quinn Dahle, originally from Minnesota, has appeared on “The Tonight Show,” Showtime, Comedy Central, “Lopez Tonight” and “Carson Daly.” He has worked with some of the biggest names in comedy including Robin Williams, Tim Allen and Brad Garrett. Dahle, known for his comedic and improvisational crowd work, has a universal audience and keeps them coming back for more.

- Tuesday, September 27 through Sunday, October 2: Paul Ogata with special guests
Paul Ogata, born and raised in Pearl City, Hawaii, moved to Los Angeles in 2006 to begin devoting more time to stand-up comedy. In 2004, Ogata won the title of “Funniest Asian-American Comedian in the U.S.” in the TakeOut Comedian Competition and won the prestigious San Francisco International Comedy Competition in 2007. Ogata has been seen on Comedy Central’s “Live at Gotham,” “Comics Unleashed,” CBS’s “Late Late Show” and debuted his stand-up comedy album “Paul Ogata Stands Up: Live in Hong Kong” in February 2010.
