Eating in restaurants is discouraged due to COVID, but with The Center’s Dine Thru program, people can still enjoy a delicious meal.
The Dine Thru is a monthly event that features a local restaurant that provides one free meal to registrants. Restaurants and menu offerings differ each month.
This month, the Dine Thru will be held on January 26, 2021 and the meal will be provided courtesy of Big B’s BBQ. Menu choices include pulled pork, brisket, and vegetarian lasagna and people can pick up their delicious meal at The Center, located at 401 S. Maryland Parkway from 1 p.m. to 2:30 pm.
Reservations are required and you can reserve your meal at https://tinyurl.com/y49ua3nl
“Even though we can’t break bread together, the Dine Thru lets people connect with local restaurants and our services,” says Nicole McNee, volunteer and senior programs manager. “We are thankful that many different restaurants want to help feed our members, especially those who are underserved.”
