On Wednesday, May 25, Resorts World Las Vegas hosted an exciting event as 26 life-size baby elephant statues were unveiled as a part of Elephant Parade, the world’s largest touring public elephant art exposition that raises awareness of and support for elephant conservation.

Marking the first-ever display in Las Vegas, the newest resort on the Strip came together with celebrity, retail and business partners to create a stunning herd of baby elephant statues, each personally designed by its respective community member. The elephants are now on display across the property for all to see and enjoy.

The event kicked-off as Scott Sibella, President of Resorts World Las Vegas, Dana Yarger, Elephant Parade North American Representative and René de Wit, Managing Director of Elephant Parade welcomed guests. Following the remarks, the crowd counted down to uncover the 26 art pieces and reveal a colorful, whimsical herd of elephants while an animation of the statues paraded around the resort’s LED Globe.

The eye-catching art installation includes 13 predesigned elephants from past parades, with themes such as Betty Boop, The Big Lebowski, Cesar Millan’s dogs and more, along with uniquely designed statues created by participating community members including: AREA15, Celine Dion, Katy Perry in collaboration with Boys & Girls Club of Southern Nevada, 818 Tequila, Las Vegas Convention and Visitors Authority (LVCVA), Las Vegas Raiders, Life is Beautiful, The Boring Company, The Coca-Cola Company, Tiësto, UFC, and Vegas Golden Knights.

Elephant Parade at Resorts World Las Vegas will be on display throughout various areas of the property beginning today and running through Labor Day Weekend. Following the exhibition, the expertly painted statues will be auctioned off to benefit elephant welfare programs. Adding to the excitement, guests will be able to purchase select miniature replicas of the elephants throughout retail stores across the property.
