The Distinguished Gentleman’s Ride is a niche charity event that focuses on dapper gentlefolk riding classically designed motorcycles through the heart of their cities around the globe on May 22 to raise awareness and funds for prostate cancer research and men’s mental health programs.
Las Vegas riders will gather at the Tivoli Village fountain for photos, awards, and lunch at Al Solito Posto before continuing their ride through the valley. Over 60 riders have registered for the event, and $12,000 has already been pledged in sponsorships.
Now in its 10th year, The Distinguished Gentleman’s Ride raises funds and awareness for prostate cancer and men’s mental health on behalf of Movember. Men die on average 6 years earlier than women and for largely preventable reasons.
At the Al Solito photo call, riders will be awarded in the following categories:
Best Dressed
Oldest Bike
Best Looking Bike/Rider Combo
The entire ride itinerary begins at EuroCycle (6175 W Sahara Ave) before the riders travel to Al Solito Posto, then the Welcome to Fabulous Las Vegas Sign, Red Rock Canyon Overlook and finally to Tres Cazuelas Artisanal Latin Cuisine (3355 Spring Mountain Rd. Next door to the Sand Dollar).
