Locally Celebrated Chef Lanny Chin is hosting a guest series pop-up dinner at Blume Kitchen & Cocktails. The four-course Asian inspired tasting menu titled “The Hunt” will feature carnivorous fare paired with fine wines and spirits. Standout menu items include Sheng Jiang Bao, Wild Boar Dan Dan Noodles, Crispy Duck, Morel Mushroom Fried Rice and Donuts and Bubbles to finish.
With a culinary career spanning 20 years, Chin has made a name for himself in the food world, including a win on Food Network’s Chopped, which has brought him new notoriety. Chin’s love for the culinary arts dates back to his early childhood when he used to join his grandfather in the kitchen of the restaurant he worked in as a chef.
At the young age of 36, Chin became the executive chef of all three PKWY Tavern locations in Nevada. During his years at PKWY, Chin has overseen menu development, brand awareness, technique training and day to day operations at additional locations around the valley. Veteran of The Slanted Door Las Vegas, Greene Street, and Apex Social Club, Chin is no stranger to some of the most highly-regarded hot spots in town.
With a developed artistry of cooking with craft beer, Chin has made a name for himself in the craft and continues to evolve his expert technique through menu development and independent restaurant consulting.
