Vanessa Collier and Ana Popovic to Perform Blues Concert at The AMP at Craig Ranch on May 6

The Amp at Craig Ranch in North Las Vegas will host a blues concert featuring top female musicians in the roots rock and blues music genre, Vanessa Collier and Ana Popovic. This high-energy concert showcases Ana’s mesmerizing guitar skills and Vanessa’s prowess on the saxophone, successfully merging musical styles. Tickets are on sale now via etix. Vanessa Collier is an 8-time Blues Music Award nominee and 2-time Blues Music Award “Horn Player of the Year”. A 2013 graduate of the prestigious Berklee College of Music, she’s toured nationally and internationally, released three critically acclaimed albums (2014’s Heart, Soul & Saxophone, 2017’s Meeting My Shadow, and 2018’s Honey Up), and released her highly anticipated fourth album, Heart on the Line, to crowdfunders in May 2020. Honey Up spent 9 weeks atop the Billboard Blues Album Charts Top 15, 3 months on the Living Blues Charts at #10 and #23, and continues to be spun on B.B. King’s Bluesville station on SiriusXM radio. Ana Popovic is best known as the “Serbian Scorcher” of blues guitar due to her fiery technique. For over 20 years Popovic and her band have toured tirelessly, sharing stages with luminaries like B.B. King, Buddy Guy, Jeff Beck, Joe Bonamassa, and more. She’s even been called “one helluva guitar-player” by Bruce Springsteen for her signature shredding. “With the additions of Vanessa Collier and Ana Popovic to the 2022 concert series lineup at the Amp at Craig Ranch, the City of North Las Vegas is bringing an eclectic mix of musical genres to music fans across Southern Nevada”, said Steve Manley, General Manager of The AMP. Other acts confirmed during the 2022 concert series at The AMP at Craig Ranch include Funk Explosion 2022 (April 9), Blues at the Amp (May 6), Phoebe Bridgers Reunion Tour (May 13), Lord Huron (May 17), I LOVE THE 90’S TOUR (May 20), Tumua, Time to Laugh (May 21), Ben Harper and The Innocent Criminals (May 26), One Nation Under A Groove Tour (August 13), Lost 80's Live! (August 26), Ja Rule + Ashanti (August 25), and Gipsy Kings featuring Nicolas Reyes (September 2). Opened in 2015, The Amp is the only large-scale outdoor amphitheater in the Las Vegas valley located inside Craig Ranch Regional Park with seating capacity up to 6,800.
