The prestigious award highlighting Las Vegas’ emerging business and community leaders is featuring JING’s own Executive Chef Thomas Griese among the distinguished recipients.
JING Las Vegas located at Downtown Summerlin is happy to announce that Executive Chef Thomas Griese is one of this year’s recipients of the Vegas Inc’s 40 Under 40 Awards, hosted by Greenspun Media Group.
Every year, Vegas Inc presents a list of the Las Vegas Valley’s most influential and accomplished young business leaders under the age of 40. These honorees are eager, dedicate and passionate young professionals that offer something unique and bring a promise of what’s to come in their industries.
Executive Chef Thomas Griese was featured in this year’s 40 Under 40 List not only for his impressive culinary prowess, which includes learning from renowned chefs Thomas Keller, Andre Rochat and Michael Mina, but also for using his culinary skills to help Southern Nevada churches with food drives and cooking for the homeless.
During the pandemic, he was part of the Executive Task Force at Aria to cook over 1,000 meals a day. From environmental causes, to supporting the American Cancer Society, to raising funds to purchase iPads for Clark County children, Griese makes it a mission to give back.
Thomas Griese, the “Summerlin Chef”, was featured in the Las Vegas Weekly special edition commemorating the 40 Under 40 honorees.
The event commemorating all of this year’s honorees took place on Thursday, March 31 at the AZILO Ultra Lounge located in SAHARA Las Vegas from 6 to 8 p.m.
