Star-studded event will take place at Bellagio in Las Vegas for the next two years, featuring the College Football Hall of Fame inductions.
The National Football Foundation (NFF) & College Hall of Fame announced today the Las Vegas Convention and Visitors Authority (LVCVA), the marketing arm for the Las Vegas destination, has extended its role as the presenting sponsor of the NFF Annual Awards Dinner for an additional two years.
The 66th NFF Annual Awards Dinner (Dec. 10, 2024) and the 67th event (Dec. 9, 2025), will both take place at Bellagio Resort & Casino.
“It has been an honor to welcome the National Football Foundation & College Hall of Fame to Las Vegas to celebrate the best of college football,” said Steve Hill, President/CEO of the LVCVA. “Hosting an event of this caliber, along with its exceptional members and honorees, has been an exciting opportunity for Las Vegas. We look forward to the continued relationship and showcasing the many amazing experiences that the NFF and their guests will only find here.”
The annual black-tie affair features the induction of the College Football Hall of Fame class; the honoring of the NFF National Scholar-Athlete Class Presented by Fidelity Investments; the bestowing of the William V. Campbell Trophy® to college football’s top scholar-athlete; and the presentation of the NFF Major Awards.
“Las Vegas has rolled out the red carpet for us the past three years, and we are extremely pleased to extend the relationship,” said NFF Chairman Archie Manning, “We have received high praise from the college football community on Vegas as a destination, and the venues are simply spectacular. I would like to thank the LVCVA for their continued partnership and recognizing the significance of the event.”
The NFF also announced today that Bellagio will host the 2024 and 2025 editions of the NFF Annual Awards Dinner. Inspired by the beautiful villages of Europe, the AAA Five Diamond resort overlooks an 8 ½-acre lake in which fountains perform a magnificent aquatic ballet. Award-winning dining, a world-class art gallery, the exquisite Conservatory & Botanical Gardens, the stunning performance of “O” by Cirque du Soleil, a sumptuous spa and salon and exclusive luxury shopping all work together to compose the symphony that is Bellagio. The resort played host to the NFF Annual Awards Dinner in 2022.
Daniel Rush, MGM Resorts International’s Global Head of Sports, Events Sales, said, “We look forward to welcoming the return of the National Football Foundation Hall of Fame Induction Gala to Bellagio in 2024 and 2025. The relationship with NFF has further strengthened the destination’s role as the sports and entertainment capital of the world.”
The NFF Annual Awards Dinner has been “THE” place to connect for the college community for more than six decades. The inaugural dinner took place in 1958 at the Hotel Astor in New York City, embarking on a 63-year run in the Big Apple. The event moved to Las Vegas in 2021, and today’s announcement will cement five years in “The Greatest Arena on Earth.”
