Local Firefighters Are Competing in the Annual Waffle Eating Contest to Raise Funds for the Burn Foundation

Tiabi Coffee and Waffle are hosting their annual Waffle Eating Contest, “Waffles For A Cause,” to celebrate International Waffle Day and raise funds for the Firefighters of Southern Nevada Burn Foundation’s after the fire is out program.

Local off-duty firefighters from across the valley’s departments will compete in the Waffle Eating Contest on Friday, March 25. Each waffle is worth ten dollars, and Tiabi will throw in a curve waffle. Their red velvet waffle will be in the middle of the stack and worth $20 if consumed. The firefighters only have five minutes to raise as many funds by eating as many waffles as possible.

• 8 am firefighters, and fire trucks arrive for preparation 
• 9 am waffle eating contest kicks – off
