Piero’s Italian Cuisine, a treasured Las Vegas fine dining restaurant, will celebrate the 85th birthday of owner and founder, Freddie Glusman, with “Freddie’s Favorite Four,” a four-course dinner highlighting his most-loved dishes.
The specialty offering will be available Tuesday, Feb. 8 through Saturday, Feb. 12 and a portion of all proceeds will be donated to Patrick Kelley Youth Foundation (PKYF).
Curated to honor Freddie’s birthday week and priced at $85, the meal will start with the choice of an appetizer: freshly-made ravioli filled with spinach and ricotta cheese, served with white sauce and topped with crispy, fried mozzarella; or shrimp cocktail served with horseradish and lemon. Guests may enjoy a salad or soup for the second course, including the choice of Caesar salad; burrata salad served with heirloom tomatoes, pesto and balsamic vinegar; pasta fagioli; or New England clam chowder.
For the entrée, guests may select chicken parmesan served with mozzarella, parmesan and pomodoro; Glory Bay salmon piccata served with lemon, capers and parsley; linguine and Middle Neck clams with white wine and garlic broth; mushroom risotto served with white truffle butter and parmesan; or a grilled 16-ounce veal chop with olive oil and roasted garlic. Dessert options include the choice of custard-filled profiteroles; vanilla or chocolate gelato; and coconut or blood orange sorbet.
