Chromeo released their new album, Date Night: Chromeo Live!, in June, from their headlining 2018 pre-pandemic tour. The duo donated proceeds from Date Night merch and vinyl sales to The Touring Professionals, an alliance created to help those who support touring artists that were impacted by the pandemic.
Long-time friends, David “Dave 1” Macklovitch and Patrick “P-Thugg” Gemayel started Chromeo combining elements of funk, disco and soul nearly two decades ago. With the world hit, “Needy Girl,” coming off of their debut album, the pair became immediately recognizable on the club scene. The duo has performed at Coachella and the Grammy’s with popular hits including “Over Your Shoulder” and “Juice.”
CEO of Unprotected Records and Stingboi Productions, Partiboi69 fuses cutting edge, computer-animated graphics with the sounds of electro dank, ghetto freak and K-tech.
With over 100,000 monthly listeners on Spotify, VNSSA has released multiple EPs and singles on labels such as Dirtybird, Higher Ground, Sweat It Out, Techne and many more, including a Beatport #1 single “Word,” with Walker & Royce, on Black Book Records/HotBoi.
Since 2019, HONEYLUV has hit the ground running, making a name for herself in the EDM realm and attracting fans from all over the world. Having enjoyed a successful 2020, HoneyLuv has become a household name and the most sought out DJ in the world.
Conceptualized and designed by Corner Bar founder, Ryan Doherty, the centerpiece of DISCOPUSSY is a custom-built disco-octopus. The eight tentacled, articulated beast is made of more than 10,000 laser cut components illuminated by more than 5,000 individually addressable light emitting diodes. Controlled by state-of-the-art LED drivers, the sculptural display boasts refresh rates of well over 60 frames per second. Created by Keegan Olton in collaboration with Future TBD and Building 180, the tentacles present a colorful, visual light experience.
DISCOPUSSY is open from 10 p.m. to 3 a.m. on Thursday – Saturday with afterhours on Saturday from 3 a.m. to 5 a.m. and from 10 p.m. to 2 a.m. on Sunday. More information is available on the website at www.DISCOPUSSYDTLV.com and by calling 702-754-1225, as well as on Facebook, Instagram and Twitter.
