Can’t be in Munich, Germany for Oktoberfest? Hofbräuhaus Las Vegas has you covered! Celebrating its 20th anniversary in 2024, the beloved Bavarian beer hall and restaurant has announced the return of the city’s most authentic Oktoberfest experience. The annual celebration will take place right in the heart of Las Vegas from September 13 through October 31, 2024.
Every Friday and Saturday night throughout Oktoberfest, a special celebrity guest will tap the keg to kick off the evening’s festivities. Following the time-honored tradition of the mayor of Munich tapping the first keg of beer to mark the start of Oktoberfest, Las Vegas Mayor Carolyn Goodman will serve as the season’s first honorary keg tapper on Friday, Sept. 13.
The party will continue throughout the week, with daily specials, stein-holding contests, bar games and The Biermeister Band performing live on stage nightly from 5 p.m. to 10 p.m. Sunday to Thursday, and 6 p.m. to 11 p.m. Friday and Saturday.
The celebrity keg tapper lineup for Oktoberfest 2024 at Hofbräuhaus Las Vegas is:

Additionally, Hofbräuhaus Las Vegas is the only place in Las Vegas where beer lovers can taste the same Oktoberfestbier that is served at the Oktoberfest in Munich. The full-bodied lager is brewed to perfection and sports a 6.3 percent alcohol by volume. Oktoberfestbier is imported from the same batches made for the Oktoberfest tent in Munich to Hofbräuhaus locations across the country. Luckily, partiers don’t need to go to Munich to enjoy this famous flavor. The Las Vegas location alone serves an average of 22,500 liters or 5,943 gallons per month.
To complement its brews, Hofbräuhaus Las Vegas will also offer a delectable menu of specialty items throughout Oktoberfest. The culinary journey through Bavaria will include the following specials every day of the week:
- Monday: Biergulasch – Tender beef braised in goulash spices and HB dark beer
- Tuesday: Münchner Spezialitätenplatte – Mini Weisswurst, grilled beer marinated pork sausage, Debreziner, and oven-roasted pork, served with Bavarian cabbage, potato cucumber salad and a freshly baked pretzel
- Wednesday: Oktoberfest Schlachteplatte – A Butcher Platter with your choice of blood sausage ring or liver sausage ring, 1 lbs. each. Served with homemade mashed potatoes, sauerkraut, and red cabbage
- Thursday: HB Räucherplatte – A variety of smoked Bavarian meats and sausages
- Friday: HB Oktoberfest Rouladen – Braised beef roll with bacon, onions, and pickles; and Schweinshaxe – Crispy pork shank
- Saturday: Schweinshaxe – Crispy pork shank
- Sunday: Oktoberfest Schmankerl Tower – A variety of Bavarian meat and/or poultry specialties on a three-tiered tower
Additionally, every Friday, Saturday and Sunday during Oktoberfest, the soup of the day will be the restaurant’s savory homemade Gulaschsuppe (Goulash soup).
And in celebration of its 20th anniversary, Hofbräuhaus Las Vegas will continue to offer a different featured schnitzel for $20 on the 20th of each month, as well as the specialty anniversary cocktail, “Prost to 20!,” featuring Kinky Punch, grenadine, Starry, and pineapple juice, served in hurricane glass.
Hofbräuhaus Las Vegas will continue to offer guests guaranteed premium seating in the main hall with its VIP Experience Packages. Groups can purchase a table for either eight or ten guests, with the price paid used as an F&B credit towards their bill. Single VIP tickets are also available, which include prime family-style seating in the main hall. Pricing varies.
