Calling all royalty to come out for a weekend full of authentic medieval fun
Clark County Parks and Recreation is excited to bring back one of its most popular family-friendly outdoor events of the season.
The return of the 27th annual Age of Chivalry Renaissance Festival makes its way to Sunset Park on Friday, Oct. 15 through Sunday, Oct. 17.
Long-time patrons and newcomers are welcome to this three-day outdoor event that features more than 100 artisans, historical reenactments, various shows per day and plenty of authentic food and drinks to satisfy the masses. Guests can experience full-contact jousting tournaments, live combat battles, no-holds-bar gladiator battles, black powder demonstrations, strolling minstrels, contortionists, magicians, storytellers, jokers, jugglers, flame eaters, belly dancers, trained parrots and pirates.
Additional attractions include bow and arrow and axe target games, medieval barber and surgeon demonstrations, Princess Tea Party and storytelling, Scavenger Hunt and Renaissance guilds to interact with. For more information, visit www.lvrenfair.com.

TICKETS:
General admission tickets for all three days are $35 for adults in advance and $18 for seniors ages 60 and over as well as children ages six through 12 in advance. Children age five and younger are free. Single day general admission tickets are $15 per day for adults in advance and $8 for seniors and children per day in advance. The Royal Package is $45 and includes one three-day wristband into the festival, one event t-shirt and one event poster. Day of show prices increase onsite when gates open to $25 for adults and $20 for seniors and children. Advanced tickets can be purchased at community centers and at www.lvrenfair.com.
PARKING:
Event parking will be available at Sunset Park, but is limited. Overflow parking lots are located at Del Sol High School (3100 E. Patrick Lane) beginning Friday from 6 p.m. – 11 p.m., Saturday from 11 a.m. – 11 p.m. and Sunday from 11 a.m. – 6 p.m. and Cannon Middle School (5850 Euclid Street) only as needed. Free shuttle service is available to and from the festival grounds approximately every 15 minutes starting at 5 p.m. on Friday and 10 a.m. on Saturday and Sunday. Guests should refrain from parking at area businesses as they will tow unauthorized vehicles. Ride share pick up and drop off will be located at the Sunset administration building, next to the shuttle pick up inside Sunset Park.
VISITOR INFO:
Patrons may bring one sealed bottle of water, sunscreen, blankets and still camera. No unauthorized vending, concessions, merchandise, literature or promotions allowed. Any participants in costume must have all related props or weapons peace tied, or those items will be denied at time of entry. No carry-in food or beverages, pets, lawn chairs or weapons (with or without permit) are allowed inside the festival area. No re-entry is allowed without a wristband. ATMs will be on site and located by each entrance gate, next to the main food court and in vendor village.
