The award-winning margaritas and Mexican food of Tacos & Tequila (T&T) will return to Las Vegas after over a decade of success on the Strip with a vibrant new restaurant and cantina at Palace Station.
Opening later this year, the new T&T will span 4,000-square-feet near the sports book in the space formerly occupied by Little Tony’s.
“We are thrilled to add Tacos & Tequila to Palace Station’s exciting lineup of new restaurants,” said Michael Frey, co-founder of Drive This! Entertainment, the company behind T&T. “Our fun, high-energy vibe is a fantastic addition to the many enhancements that have been made to Palace Station, a favorite destination for locals and Las Vegas visitors.”
Famous for its fun, party atmosphere, T&T celebrates traditional Mexican culture with stylish, modern design and a flavorful menu that combines traditional and modern cuisine. HDTVs throughout the restaurant and cantina offer prime sports viewing, and proximity to the sports book makes it convenient to place bets while taking in the game. T&T is also easily accessible, just steps away from the parking garage.
“The addition of Tacos & Tequila at Palace Station will offer our guests yet another exciting dining option focused on authentic cuisine, a lively atmosphere and of course, exceptional value,” said David Horn, Vice President and General Manager of Palace Station.
Menu favorites include the “#1 Alambre,” made with filet mignon, applewood smoked bacon, Oaxaca cheese, poblano chili, onion and cilantro served on a corn tortilla; the shrimp quesadilla, made with grilled shrimp, black beans, Oaxaca cheese, pico de gallo, chipotle aioli, crema fresca and avocado wrapped in a flour tortilla; and beef barbacoa enchiladas, made with slow-roasted brisket, roasted Guajillo-tomato sauce, gouda, Oaxaca and jack cheese, pickled onion and sour cream made with corn tortillas. T&T also serves vegan and gluten-free selections.
T&T’s signature cocktails include hand-crafted margaritas like the T&T top shelf, pineapple chipotle, strawberry agave and pomegranate acai. An extensive list of more than 100 different tequila selections, includes Don Julio, Milagro, El Jimador, Clase Azul, Casa Dragones, Tears of Llorona and Patron.
T&T is the flagship restaurant for Frey and his partner, Craig Gilbert, who founded Drive This! Entertainment in 2006. The company is also behind Mozen Asian Kitchen, located in Southern California.
