Plena Libre kicked off first night of a two-night concert series presented by City of Henderson
Plena Libre, a four-time Grammy- and Latin Grammy-nominated Afro-Rican band, performed an electrifying show on Saturday, Aug. 14 at the Water Street Plaza Amphitheater in downtown Henderson.
This was the first performance in the City of Henderson’s August Nights Summer Concert Series.
Concertgoers enjoyed Plena Libre’s Afro-Puerto Rican rhythms and other Caribbean sounds during the Saturday night concert that started at 8 p.m.
The August Nights Summer Concert Series presented by the City of Henderson is a live two-night concert series featuring sizzling Latin music from acclaimed musicians. The next concert at the Water Street Plaza Amphitheater features Kiki Valera y Su Son Cubano on Saturday, Aug. 28 at 8 p.m.
Tickets for the next concert in the August Nights Concert Series are $5 and can be purchased in advance online at cityofhenderson.com. Seating is first-come, first-served.
