Local magician Ben Young, amid the Covid-19 pandemic in 2020, started Foam Fever LV, bringing awesome foam dance parties to kids for birthdays, school summer programs, and family get-togethers.
“It is way too much fun! We bring and operate our epic foam cannon, continuously creating a giant pile of cool, clean foam up to 20×20 feet wide and several feet deep, right in your yard or driveway! We also play family-friendly music, so kids can dance, jump, and play in the foam. Plus, we clean it all up afterwards, so it’s very easy for the families we work with.”
While many of us remember foam parties from wild nights in college, Foam Fever takes a more wholesome approach. Young says “A lot of our clients know about foam parties, but had no idea they could have one right in their yard for their kiddos. It’s a fresh, fun idea for their event!”
This premium party entertainment service really has to be seen to be believed, which is why Foam Fever keeps very active Instagram and Facebook profiles to showcase the foamy fun. (@FoamFeverLV)
Pre-pandemic, Young spent several years working for Strip legend Mac King, made guest appearances in Murray Sawchuck’s residency, appeared on Penn & Teller: Fool Us, and performed for the U.S. troops on 80 military bases worldwide. When live entertainment was shut down in 2020, he took that opportunity to pivot and try something brand new in Las Vegas. It started simply as a way to make ends meet during a hard time.
After less than a year and nearly 300 parties to their name, Foam Fever is certainly rocking and rolling. The crew has even expanded to handle multiple parties simultaneously on weekends (always in high demand.) Young says, “I feel so fortunate that we’ve stayed busy, and it’s been such a joy to work with incredible families. We have the coolest job!”
