Additional Show Auditions Also Scheduled for Future Dates
Rainbow Company Youth Theatre, a city of Las Vegas program, will host auditions for its student ensemble Saturday, Aug. 14, from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. at Charleston Heights Arts Center, 800 S. Brush St. The student ensemble program offers professional-level training to youth ages 10-18 in all aspects of theatre. All ensemble participants will participate in ongoing theatre classes and workshops, as well as work onstage and backstage for a full season of productions.
Audition attendees must arrive by 10 a.m. and should expect to remain for the full four hours. No preparation is required. Participants are asked to come with a willing spirit and dressed in comfortable clothing.
An informational meeting about the ensemble audition process, expectations and more will be held Saturday, July 31, from 2 to 4 p.m. at the Charleston Heights Arts Center. Anyone interested in auditioning is invited to attend.
The 45th season will feature shows that are being produced for the first time by Rainbow Company Youth Theatre. There is no cost for residents ages 8-adult to audition for each individual show. The audition schedule and performance schedule are as follows:
“The Neverending Story” – auditions Saturday, Aug. 21; performances Oct. 1–10.
