Nevada State Bank stopped by the Communities In Schools Fill the Bus event held at Sam’s Club on I-215 & Rainbow to support the nonprofit and drop-off several boxes of new school supplies.
In addition, NSB has raised $1,155 to-date as part of its annual efforts to support Fill the Bus.
Nevada State Bank’s Las Vegas area branches collected new school supplies donations to support Communities In Schools of Nevada’s Fill the Bus Drive. Colleagues and clients supported the cause by bringing in supplies or donating funds to the statewide nonprofit.
“It’s important to us to help the kids in our community get ready to go back to school each year. This year we wanted to do what we could to help those families making the transition back to in-person learning,” said Sandi Milton, SVP, marketing communications and events manager for Nevada State Bank. “We wanted to make it easy for the community to drop off school supplies at any of our branches and support Communities In Schools.”
Communities In Schools of Nevada is the local affiliate of the nation’s leading dropout prevention program. The nonprofit works on-site in schools, ensuring every student is empowered to stay in school and achieve their goals.
