Ferraro’s Italian Restaurant & Wine Bar invites guests to experience the next Taste & Learn on Saturday, July 24 from 6 to 8 p.m.
Taste & Learn is Ferraro’s popular, monthly wine-tasting and education event that provides illuminating wine education along with a menu of expertly prepared, authentic Italian small plates crafted by Chef Mimmo Ferraro.
Each Taste & Learn offers a tour through some of Italy’s most esteemed wineries. July’s event spotlights the wines from Azelia Winery, a boutique winery run by the Scavino family since its founding in 1920. Today, under the guidance of the Scavino family’s fifth generation of leadership, Azelia Winery produces esteemed wines from the Langhe of Barolo, one of the most extraordinary wine regions in the world, using only grapes native to the region: Dolcetto, Barbera and Nebbiolo.
“We are always excited to teach our guests about Italian wines and look forward to our monthly Taste & Learn events,” said Gino Ferraro, owner of Ferraro’s. “With Chef Mimmo’s thoughtful pairings, it’s not only an incredible wine education experience, but also a wonderful culinary one.”
