Electrified audience welcomed iconic nightclub’s and the Las Vegas Strip’s first live concert post shutdown for grand reopening celebration
Early this morning just past 2 a.m., multi-platinum Grammy and Golden Globe-nominated superstar Wiz Khalifa hit the stage at the iconic Drai’s Nightclub for what was the first full-length concert on the Las Vegas Strip since the state loosened COVID mandates. It was the Strip’s first live concert since early spring 2020.
The explosive sold-out performance electrified an audience of more than a thousand fans who packed the rooftop nightclub, located in the middle of the Strip at the corner of Las Vegas Boulevard and Flamingo Avenue at The Cromwell.
The performance was part of Drai’s official grand reopening celebration, which continues tonight with a full-length concert by Grammy-award winning artist, Future. Both performances kick off the return of Drai’s LIVE, the nightclub’s groundbreaking live music series.
Khalifa, a multi-platinum Grammy and Golden Globe-nominated artist, is best known for his Grammy-nominated album, “Blacc Hollywood.” His accolades include BET Awards, Billboard Music Awards and Teen Choice Awards. A frequent performer at Rolling Loud Festival, Khalifa has collaborated with numerous world–renowned artists, including Travis Scott, Gucci Mane and Lil Baby.
