With 10,000 Shows and More Than 2.5 Million Audience Members Since Debuting in 1999, FANTASY Reigns Supreme as the Top Female Revue in Las Vegas, Led by Powerhouse Vocalist Lorena Peril and a Cast of Stunning Dancers
FANTASY: The Strip’s Sexiest Tease is set to achieve a monumental milestone this October as the dazzling female revue celebrates 25 years of performances on the Las Vegas Strip. With 10,000 shows and more than 2.5 million audience members since the curtain raised in 1999 at the iconic Luxor Hotel & Casino, the award-winning show’s silver anniversary will be honored with a Key to the Las Vegas Strip and will celebrate with the unveiling of sensational new numbers choreographed by top Hollywood talents.
They include “Eras Tour” and “La La Land” choreographer Mandy Moore, “Dancing With The Stars” winners Val Chmerkovskiy and Jenna Johnson, renowned dancer and choreographer Cris Judd, and former cast member Yesi Burgess, now a resident director in Las Vegas and captivating backup dancer for top recording artists including Kylie Minogue and Jason Derulo.
Emmy Award-winning producer Anita Mann created and debuted FANTASY as “Midnight Fantasy” in 1999 when the show began its incredible ride with a six-month contract. “What drives our success is a cast brimming with phenomenal talent,” said Anita Mann of Anita Mann Productions (AMP), who also is the producer, director and a choreographer of the scintillating production. “From the powerhouse vocals of our headliner to a cast of extraordinary dancers, FANTASY delivers seductive charm and electrifying performances from start to finish.”
Always pushing the boundaries of creativity, Mann keeps FANTASY at the forefront of entertainment by introducing fresh acts and new choreography every year. For its 25th anniversary, she is channeling her trademark passion into teaming up with all-time choreography greats, including Moore, Chmerkovskiy, Johnson, Judd and Burgess as well as District 78, famous for innovative musical interpretations on shows like “So You Think You Can Dance,” “Dancing with the Stars,” “The Masked Singer,” and “America’s Best Dance Crew.”
“Our Luxor family is proud to celebrate a successful 25-year partnership with FANTASY,” said Travis Lunn, President & COO of Mandalay Bay and Luxor. “We are grateful for the hard work Anita and her entire team have put into creating the show and look forward to entertaining our guests for many years to come.”
Enchanting audiences of all backgrounds, the always-evolving, sexy production showcases 15 electrifying numbers set to high-energy, contemporary music. Dynamic lead vocalist Lorena Peril, awarded “Best Local Entertainer” by the Silver State Awards, delivers a mind-blowing performance with her riveting voice and comedic wit, taking center stage alongside a diverse cast of beautiful and talented dancers and aerialists from numerous states, such as California, Colorado, Massachusetts and Texas, among others, and multiple countries, including Ukraine, Australia, France and Poland.
FANTASY has earned multiple awards in the “Best of Las Vegas” awards by the Las Vegas Review-Journal, including its fifth consecutive gold and eighth consecutive award for “Best Female Revue” in 2023, alongside a silver award for “Best Bachelor Party,” its fourth consecutive recognition in the category. The show has also been recognized by the Review-Journal awards multiple times for “Best Production Show” and “Best Showgirls.” FANTASY has also been awarded “All-Time Best Female Revue” and 2021’s “Best Production Show” by Las Vegas Weekly, crowning over two decades of accolades.
A renowned entertainer in her own right, Peril shares her personal story of being discovered during an open mic night on a cruise in her own production, “From Housekeeper to Headliner.” The limited engagement premiered to sold-out audiences last year.
Mann’s journey is straight out of a storybook, as well. As an aspiring dancer in Los Angeles, she came across a line of dancers auditioning for a major role outside CBS Studios while walking home from high school. Just 17 years old at the time, she exaggerated her age and secured her first role as a dancer in a televised production. She went on to impress Elvis Presley and Lucille Ball as well as their famed choreographer, Jack Baker, as both a dancer and choreographer. She went on to become one of the industry’s top choreographers, earning Emmy nominations for “The Muppets Go Hollywood,” “Solid Gold,” and “The Jerry Lewis MDA Telethon,” and winning an Emmy for the “75th Annual Miss America Pageant.” In January 1986, Mann became the first female producer in Las Vegas when she brought “AM – A Blast from the Past” to the stage at The Riviera Hotel and Casino. By the time she produced FANTASY, she had amassed a decades-long career filled with numerous accolades and achievements.
A dedicated mentor to young talents, Mann, along with AMP executive producer Beverly Jeanne, a former “Solid Gold” dancer, nurtures talent from within. Mann’s former executive assistant Shannon Hammitt now leads marketing and advertising for AMP’s projects including FANTASY. Additionally, dancer Mariah Nieslanik was promoted to co-producer in early 2022, and dancer Ashton Bray took on the role of performance director in late 2023.
