Award-winning learning platform will bring innovative learning solutions to local Girl Scouts
Girl Scouts of Southern Nevada and Learn with Socrates, a Las Vegas-based award-winning learning platform, have announced a partnership that will bring financial literacy and money management content to local Girl Scouts using the Socrates personalized learning platform.
“Our partnership with Socrates allows us to continue expanding our growing selection of programs for every girl in Southern Nevada,” said Kimberly Trueba, CEO of Girl Scouts of Southern Nevada. “With their state-of-the-art AI technology and fun gamification to encourage students to keep learning, Socrates is the ideal partner to allow Girl Scouts to learn this important topic from the comfort and safety of their homes.”
Co-founder of Socrates, Brian Rosenberg, is the father of Girl Scout, Elizabeth, in Troop179 and his wife Candy Rosenberg is a Girl Scout troop leader. Socrates personalizes learning across any educational topic, adjusting in real-time to the needs of the student. The Financial Literacy module adds dozens of learning topics and videos covering money management skills – from identifying currency to budgeting and entrepreneurship. In addition to Financial Literacy, Girl Scouts will also be able to access Math, English, Science, and Health content. Socrates will be available to Southern Nevada Girl Scouts beginning June 1st. For $5.00 per Girl Scout a year, users as young as five will be able to complete their personalized financial literacy learning journey.
