UnCommons, the first-of-its-kind campus in Southwest Las Vegas, is proud to announce its partnership with the Vegas Golden Knights (VGK). To kick off the official partnership, UnCommons will host the official Vegas Golden Knights Block Party, watch party and fan appreciation event, with special VGK appearances on Wednesday, April 10.
Starting at 5 p.m., hockey fans will be invited to cheer on Vegas’ beloved home team and partake in fun festivities in The Quad, UnCommons’ central courtyard for gathering.
In addition to watching the Knights go against the Edmonton Oilers that evening, attendees can look forward to meeting VGK’s adorable service puppy in training, Maverick, and browsing the official licensed apparel truck for exclusive VGK merchandise.
“UnCommons is an innovative space that is a fitting partner for the Vegas Golden Knights, given the way we look to elevate each fan’s experience,” said VGK President and CEO Kerry Bubolz. “We look forward to celebrating this partnership with our VGK Block Party at UnCommons during a must-see road game for the team on April 10.”
Yard games like cornhole will add to the excitement, while live music from a DJ and intermission raffles for special prizes, ranging from t-shirts to tickets, will keep the energy high throughout the event. Visitors can also test their own puck handling skills on an inflatable rink, plus have their photo taken with VGK’s talented dancers, the Vegas Vivas, and the Golden Knight.
Guests and animal lovers can also stop by the VGK-9 Club table to sign up and learn more about the organization’s pet-friendly club, a free-to-join community created for fans who are united by their love of the Golden Knights and their love of dogs.
The partnership between UnCommons and the Vegas Golden Knights will extend throughout the remainder of the current hockey season and the next, promising more exciting events and collaborations for fans of all ages to enjoy.
