Photographer Mary Rendina Receives Women In Business Award

CAMCO Marketing Director among those honored by Urban Chamber of Commerce

Las Vegas photographer Mary Rendina is among this year’s recipients of the Women In Business Award from the Urban Chamber of Commerce.

The Las Vegas Urban Chamber hosted its annual Women In Business & Politics Awards Luncheon virtually on April 30. The awards honor women business owners, entrepreneurs and elected officials across the Las Vegas Valley, recognizing their efforts and service as role models for other chamber members. 

Rendina owns Mary Rendina Photography and is the Marketing Director and executive team member for the Complete Association Management Company (CAMCO), which is headquartered in Las Vegas. 

Upon receiving her award via video, Rendina thanked CAMCO CEO Joel Just for recognizing “the importance of women in the executive workforce and continually seeking to promote women from within the company for executive-level positions.”

“I firmly believe to whom much is given, much is required, and I have been given much in the way of support from my family, friends and colleagues,” Rendina said. “That support is what drives my passion to encourage, mentor and elevate other women.”

Through her photography, Rendina said she’s able to create portraits that allow women to see themselves through a lens that captures not only their physical attributes, but also draws out their inner beauty and boosts their self-confidence.

“My greatest contribution is with Joe, my husband of 38 years, raising our three children, all of whom have chosen careers helping others to reach their potential — physically, mentally and emotionally,” she said.

Referencing the well-known quote “Here’s to strong women —May we know them —May we be them — May we raise them,” Rendina said, “I would like to add to that by saying, may we help them every chance we get.”
