Fine Art Photographer Elizabeth Waterman Set to Debut Month-Long Erotic Art Exhibition at Larry Flynt’s Hustler Club Las Vegas

Award-winning, internationally-shown fine art photographer Elizabeth Waterman is partnering with the world-famous Larry Flynt’s Hustler Club Las Vegas to debut an erotic art exhibition in conjunction with the club’s 14th anniversary.

Art enthusiasts are invited to peruse a variety of previously unseen prints from Waterman’s personal collection– many of which were shot on-location at the Hustler Club. A limited amount of prints will be available for purchase, with a portion of the proceeds benefiting the Sex Workers Outreach Project USA (SWOP-USA). This not-for-profit charitable organization directly supports grassroots advocacy, service provision, and community organizing aimed at defending the rights and dignity of sex workers.

When: The exhibition kicks off on Saturday August 31, 2024 at 10 p.m. with plans for a midnight champagne toast along with specialty activations. Waterman’s art will remain on display through September 30, 2024. 

Where: Larry Flynt’s Hustler Club Las Vegas is located at 6007 Dean Martin Dr, Las Vegas, NV 89118. The club is open 24/7. 

Why: “My artistic residency at Larry Flynt’s Hustler Club Las Vegas has been an exceptional opportunity for professional and personal growth,” Waterman said. “The Lavender Lounge, with its holographic surfaces and mirrors, has given me a particularly exciting context for developing my shutter-drag and strobe techniques. It has also been my pleasure and privilege to develop relationships with the managers, staff, and entertainers, and I want to acknowledge and thank them for their support. Finally, my hat’s off to my producer, Roland Ashley, for his unfailing belief and guidance in this project.”

ABOUT ELIZABETH WATERMAN

Elizabeth Waterman is a Los Angeles-based fine art photographer.  A through-line in her body of work is the depiction of artists and performers of many genres and sub-cultures. Her distinctive photographs explore female sexuality, strippers and exotic dancers, drag queens, adult film actors, and portraits of artists. Her sold out book MONEYGAME features photographs of strippers from five cities across the U.S. (MONEYGAME II is in the works, scheduled for 2025). It has had exhibitions in the U.S. and Europe. 

Previously unseen selections from the ongoing MONEYGAME portfolio will be presented at the anniversary month solo exhibition at Larry Flynt’s Hustler Club in Las Vegas, opening August 31.  On September 30, Waterman’s next book, CANDYLAND – featuring color-splashed portraits of female adult film actors shot outdoors during the pandemic, and a foreword by Stormy Daniels – will be released by Unicorn Publishing.

There will be a book release party in London in October. Earlier this year, Waterman spent more than a month in Bangkok, Thailand photographing “ladyboys” and other sex workers. The images will comprise another book, MONEYGAME Thailand, to be published in 2025 or 2026. Also in the works is TRANSactions, a docu-follow series on Transgender strippers, and Waterman’s next major portfolio which will focus on empowered, sexy women celebrities.
