Trustworthy Brewing Co. is celebrating Cinco de Mayo weekend with the launch of a new beer, “El Vez.” Brewed onsite, the Mexican-style lager is 6.5% ABV, lightly touched with Liberty hops, giving it a light malt flavor that is smooth, crisp and clean on the palate. From May 6-9, guests can enjoy a 16 oz. draft of El Vez and a shot of Gran Centenario Plata tequila for $12 to extend the Cinco de Mayo celebration. Regular pricing is $9 for a 16 oz. draft and $12 for a 24 oz. mug. Get ready for a pre-Cinco de Mayo celebration. Chef Nicole Brisson of the upcoming Brezza and Bar Zazu at the new Resorts World will participate in a pre-Cinco de Mayo pop-up with Chef DJ Flores from Milpa on Tuesday, May 4 from 12-7 p.m. (or until product runs out) at Milpa (4226 S Durango Dr. Suite 101). B&B Hospitality Group and Eataly alumni, Arnold Corpuz and Christian Castellanos, will join them for a taco collaboration, which includes octopus tostadas, tamarind-glazed duck tacos and cilantro lime lobster tacos, all made with Flores’s in-house stone-ground masa tortillas. The Stirling Club
In honor of Mother’s Day, The Stirling Club is ready to celebrate the mothers and special women in your life. Available exclusively on May 9 from 12-6 p.m., guests can enjoy the club’s favorite holiday brunch stations with live entertainment from 12-3 p.m., priced at $80 for members and $90 for non-members. Mother’s Day brunch stations will include shellfish, pastry, salad, carving, sides and dessert.
