April is Autism Awareness Month.
Non-Profit: The Chef Jeff Project hosted its weekly Saturday, “Beignets and Chicory Coffee Pop Up” (now also featuring Jambalaya and Chicken Sandwiches) in its pop up test kitchen in North Las Vegas.
Chef Jeff Henderson teaches life skills training with the students in the mornings during the week. Various students spoke of their stories, including two students with an Autism diagnosis, sharing how this workforce program has changed their lives.
