Bell Joins Head Coach Fran Flory For Inaugural 2024 Season
Vegas Thrill, the seventh team to be announced for the first women’s professional volleyball league in the United States, is honored to welcome its second franchise player Khat Bell, a three-time All-American and four-time Big 12 Champion with the University of Texas.
Bell, equipped with an unwavering passion for the sport and an extensive history of excellence, is poised to bring her talents to the forefront as the Vegas Thrill makes its debut on Wednesday, Feb. 7 in Omaha.
Originally from San Diego, Bell developed a passion for volleyball at a young age. She honed her skills through years of dedication and has played in professional volleyball leagues in South Korea, Puerto Rico and China. Bell’s achievements on the court, including the NCAA National Championship with the Texas Longhorns in 2012, have solidified her reputation as one of the most formidable Outside Hitters in the game.
Bell will join an impressive roster of decorated players including Olympians, National Champions and All-Americans.
“Khat Bell is a special volleyball player. She has won at every step of her career,” said Fran Flory, Las Vegas head coach and AVCA Hall of Fame inductee. “She is someone who knows how to win on the highest level. She will be a great asset to the team not only as a player, but as a person and a professional.”
“Being selected to join Vegas Thrill is a dream come true for me,” said Bell. “I am eager to bring my energy, determination and love for the sport to the team. I believe we can achieve great things and create lasting memories on the court.”
