On Wednesday morning, dozens of volunteers from Rebuilding Together Southern Nevada (RTSNV) and California State Automobile Association (CSAA) got their hands dirty in a goodwill effort to help neighbors in need.
CSAA recently granted RTSNV with $15,000 to go toward various home repairs, as well as home revitalization work – including painting, yard cleanup and a refreshment of existing landscaping rock – all conducted by 40 CSAA volunteers.
RTSNV was founded in 1994 and is the local affiliate of the national nonprofit organization, Rebuilding Together, focused on safe and healthy housing. RTSNV serves to transform the lives of low-income homeowners by rehabilitating existing homes to improve their overall health and safety.

Who We Are
Rebuilding Together Southern Nevada (RTSNV) believes that everyone deserves to live in a safe and healthy home. RTSNV is a nonprofit organization that provides home repairs and accessibility modifications for low-income homeowners. Since 1994, RTSNV has been working with the communities of City of Las Vegas, the City of North Las Vegas, and the City of Henderson to preserve affordable homeownership by bringing volunteers and community partners together to improve the homes and lives of low-income homeowners.
RTSNV and its community partners and 1,250 volunteers have renovated and rehabilitated more than 7,800 homes, impacting the lives of over 14,000 of southern Nevada’s most vulnerable homeowners and families. RTSNV provides services to seniors, veterans, and individuals with disabilities so that they may continue to live safe and independent lives.
Services are provided at no cost to qualified homeowners.
How We’re Different
RTSNV serves to rehabilitate existing homes of low-income owners at no charge to service recipients. We protect the homeowner’s independence as well as their main source of personal wealth: their home.
RTSNV works to stabilize neighborhoods by focusing our efforts on communities with the greatest need, such as those with high rates of foreclosure, abandoned properties, and vacant homes.
RTSNV creates sustainable homeownership options by collaborating with housing providers, housing counseling agencies, and social support agencies to ensure that individuals and families are able to afford and remain living safely in their homes.
