Rebuilding Together Southern Nevada and Stewart Title Conduct Volunteer Work for Homeowner in Need

More than a dozen volunteers conducted exterior painting, yard cleanup, tree stump removal and landscape rock installation, all to beautify the home of a neighbor in need.

RTSNV was founded in 1994 and is the local affiliate of the national nonprofit organization, Rebuilding Together, focused on safe and healthy housing. RTSNV serves to transform the lives of low-income homeowners by rehabilitating existing homes to improve their overall health and safety.

Rebuilding Together Southern Nevada (RTSNV) is a non-profit organization founded in 1993 and based in Las Vegas, Nevada. Their mission is to repair homes and revitalize communities for low-income homeowners.

RTSNV provides critical home repairs, accessibility modifications, and energy-efficient upgrades completely free of charge for low-income homeowners in southern Nevada, primarily seniors, people with disabilities, veterans, and families with children.

The services are funded through donations, grants, and sponsorships from corporations, foundations and individuals. RTSNV relies heavily on volunteers for their rebuild projects and has completed over 1,600 projects on over 1,100 homes in southern Nevada since their founding.

In 2022 alone, RTSNV completed over 130 project. They offer a Safe at Home program providing grab bars, railings, ramps and other safety devices for fall prevention. RTSNV also has an Annual Day of Service called Rebuilding Day where hundreds of volunteers work on multiple home projects in one day.

The organization is run by a Board of Directors and staffed with around 5 paid employees, but they recruit thousands of volunteers annually from local businesses, organizations, and the community.

RTSNV has received awards and recognition as a top non-profit in Nevada, including being named Nonprofit of the Year by the Las Vegas Chamber of Commerce in 2015.
