The growing Southwest Las Vegas community will open its next-gen event and conference pavilion, The Assembly, plus celebrate Hispanic Heritage Month and more with community events.
UnCommons, the new mixed-use community developed by Matter Real Estate Group located at the 215 Beltway and Durango Dr., is hosting recurring and special community events throughout October.
The community’s lineup includes celebrating Hispanic Heritage Month, hosting special events at The Assembly, a new next-gen event and conference pavilion, plus shopping small from local vendors at both Market in the Alley and Fresh52 Farmers Market and more.

Blues & Brunch
From 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. every Saturday and Sunday, The Sundry presents “Blues & Brunch” featuring live music, brunch bites and Bloody Marys courtesy of Diane Mina from Diane’s Bloody Mary Bar.
Market in the Alley
From 11 a.m. to 4 p.m. on Sunday, Oct. 1, UnCommons hosts Market in the Alley in The Quad. Shop small and discover local Las Vegas creators and curators on the first Sunday of each month.
Latinx Heritage Poetry Feature Series presented by Beyond the Neon
UnCommons’ partnership with local poetry organization, Beyond the Neon, presents special programming every other Sunday from 5 to 7 p.m. in The Quad. In honor of Hispanic Heritage Month, Beyond the Neon will host a special Hispanic Heritage poetry feature series to celebrate the Latinx community on Sunday, Oct. 1. Latin Night with Dancing and Beats
On Saturday, Oct. 7 UnCommons continues to celebrate Hispanic Heritage Month with “Dance Under the Stars” to music courtesy of DJ Suave Beats from 5 to 10 p.m. in The Quad. Visitors can take a free Salsa dancing class from 7 to 7:45 p.m. and experience a performance by Jordance Studio. More information can be found on UnCommons’ website.
Fresh52 Farmers Market
On Sunday, Oct. 8 and Sunday, Oct. 22 from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m., UnCommons hosts Fresh52 Farmers Market, a local open-air marketplace. An array of vendors sell organic produce, organic pasture-raised grass-finished beef, locally produced honey, fresh baked breads, desserts, hand-crafted products and more. Fresh52 occurs every other Sunday each month.
4th Annual YBIB Women’s Empowerment Summit
On Sunday, Oct. 15 UnCommons hosts the 4th Annual Your Bold Is Beautiful Women’s Empowerment Summit at The Assembly. Participants will find the beauty in being true to themselves and feeling empowered. Tickets are available now and can be purchased by visiting UnCommons’ website.
Sunday Sessions presented by Beyond the Neon
Beyond the Neon hosts a poetry open mic from 5 to 7 p.m. in The Quad on Sunday, Oct. 15. Sign-ups for the open mic will be first come first serve in The Quad starting at 4:30 p.m. the day of the event. Each participant will have five minutes on the mic. This event is free and open to the public. On Sunday, Oct. 29, Beyond the Neon hosts a poetry book club, from 5 to 7 p.m. in The Quad, with lively discussions based on the reading, The Raven by Edgar Allen Poe. Guests can sign up on EventBrite.
St. Jude’s Un-Gala for a Cause
On Thursday, Oct. 19 from 6 to 9 p.m., UnCommons celebrates St. Jude’s Ranch for Children’s Annual Un-Gala at The Assembly. Tickets to attend the fundraising event are available for purchase on UnCommons’ website.
