Vegas Stand Up & Rock brings live entertainment back to OYO Hotel & Casino, located footsteps from the MGM Grand.
This month, comics Peter Berman, JC CURRAIS, Brandt Tobler, K-Von and Patrick Garrity will headline the venue’s 7 p.m. shows on Tuesday through Sunday.
Their combined credits include “Last Comic Standing,” MTV, HBO, Comedy Central, TBS, “The Tonight Show,” Amazon’s series “Laugh After Dark” and more.
“The Madhouse Variety Show” featuring Amir “The Amiracle” Kalil and Uber Rossi brings a comedic variety show to life at 9 p.m. on Friday and Saturday, or live music performances by local and touring musicians on select nights.

Produced by Vegas JEM, the team behind the award-winning L.A. Comedy Club at The STRAT Hotel, Casino & Sky Pod, Vegas Stand Up & Rock hosts nationally touring comedians at 7 p.m. on Tuesday through Sunday. The Madhouse Variety Show performs at 9 p.m. on Friday and Saturday. On select weekend nights, live music takes over the 9 p.m. slot, produced in conjunction with Outlaw Entertainment, from producers, promoters and brothers Jason and Ray Outlaw.
Guests must be 18 years or older to attend all shows. Comedy ticket prices start at $29.95 plus taxes and fees; live music tickets start at $10 plus taxes and fees. JC Currais is a Cuban American comedian and actor, born and raised in Miami, FL. His acting career began in 2010 when he made his film debut at the Sundance Film Festival in a feature titled “New Low.” Since then, Currais has starred in television shows such as FOX’s “Lethal Weapon,” BET’s “Real Husbands of Hollywood” and was a series regular on Disney Channel’s original series “Just Roll With It.” In the comedy world, Currais has performed on TBS’s “Conan” and Comedy Central, was named TBS’s “Top Comics to Watch” at the New York Comedy Festival and was of one the New Faces of Comedy at the “Just For Laughs Festival” in Montreal. In 2020, Currais wrote and performed on the Twitch Sketch series “Two Joysticks and a Couch.”

Jack Assadourian, known as Jack Jr. on stage, grew up in the comedy scene as the son of comedy club owners and featured for big names in comedy including Marlon Wayans, Damon Wayns, Jr. and David Spade. In 2019, he was a finalist on the NBC series “Stand Up” and has appeared in comedies including “50 Shades of Black” as well as on Amazon’s series “Laugh After Dark” and documentary “Make America Laugh Again.”
Steven Ho, a first-generation Vietnamese-American, became known as “that ER guy” after sharing his comedic skits online. Now, with over 13 million followers across TikTok, YouTube and Instagram, Ho creates informative, yet entertaining content related to the emergency room, providing transparency and comedic relief around a place people often find unpleasant. Everything Ho shares with his audience provides with them with an honest lens into the ER.

Brandt Tobler, native to Cheyenne, Wyoming, is a stand-up comedian, author and actor. Tobler is a regular on numerous comedy podcasts, including “Bertcast,” “Crabfeast,” “Your Mom’s House,” “Mohr Sports,” “The Dana Gould Hour,” Ari Shaffir’s “Skeptic Tank” and is currently the host of the award-winning podcast “The 31.” He has also been featured on Comedy Central, Fox and ESPN as well as toured overseas to perform for American troops. His two comedy albums “Token White Boy” and “Ramblin’ and Gamblin’” both reached No. 1 on the iTunes and Amazon charts the week they were released. Tobler was a finalist in Barstool Sports’ “Barstool Idol” contest and was named the “Best-Undiscovered Comedian from Wyoming” by Thrillist in 2018.

K-Von, originally from Reno, Nevada, is an internationally touring standup comedian and actor best known for being the host of MTV’s “Disaster Date,” his appearances on Netflix, NBC’s “Last Comic Standing,” and most recently starring in the movie, “Funny Thing About Love,” alongside Jon Heder from “Napolean Dynamite.” K-Von’s storytelling and high-energy performance style makes his comedy both versatile and relatable to audiences around the world as he talks about a variety of topics.
- Friday, June 23 at 9 p.m.: Hilariously Discharged: Joshua Higuera
Hilariously Discharged is the ultimate stand-up comedy show that brings together the funniest veterans from all branches of the military. Produced by Joshua Higuera, an Army Veteran, this show creates a community of veterans who bond over their shared experiences while enjoying good, old-fashioned humor. Higuera is a force in the world of veteran comedy, and his passion for producing rib-tickling performances in unrivaled. His goal is to unite veterans so they can forget their worries and have a good time.
- Saturday, June 24 at 9 p.m.: Richard Villa
Richard Villa is a bilingual (English/Spanish) stand-up comedian and actor whose comedic influences draw from life experiences growing up as a Mexican-American Latino raised by immigrant parents in Compton, California. Villa’s crossover comedy appeal has landed him with appearances and specials on Netflix, MTV, HBO, Comedy Central, Comedy Central Mexico, and more. His comedy production company, “Refried Comedy,” has made an international impact in the industry. Villa has performed alongside comedy’s top talents including Gabriel Iglesias, Tom Segura, Franco Escamilla, Russell Peters, Dave Chappelle, Louis C.K. and Mike Epps. After touring with Franco Escamilla and Luis de Alba, Villa embarked on his own world tour in 2021. He is currently still on tour, performing Spanish stand-up comedy in cities all over the United States.

Patrick Garrity started comedy at an early age and developed into a veteran of the road. His energized stories about being in the military, growing up a younger brother and why the Irish don’t trash-talk come to life through characters, impressions and real-life situations. Garrity has appeared on NBC’s and CBS’s Comedy Night School.
