On Friday, April 28, critically acclaimed indie rock outfit The Backseat Lovers made their headliner Las Vegas debut at Brooklyn Bowl to a sold-out crowd of over 2,000 fans.
Captivating the crowd with lead singer and guitarist Joshua Harmon’s dreamy vocals and guitar solos, the group of young, high school best friends delivered an unforgettable performance Friday night.
The foursome made a dramatic entrance, walking onto the white-curtain-adorned stage one-by-one to the sounds of rolling thunder.
Opening with their signature jam session, the group broke into their opening rendition of “Know Your Name.” As the house lights lit up the venue, revealing a packed dance floor, a fan caught Harmon’s attention, throwing a disposable camera on-stage for an epic selfie moment.
After energetic performances of their greatest hits like “Pool House” and “Watch Your Mouth,” the crowd went absolutely wild as Harmon strummed the opening chord to “Kilby Girl,” shouting the first verse back to the band as they watched in awe of the crowd’s energy.
As the show came to an end, The Backseat Lovers indulged the crowd in one encore performance of “Sinking Ship,” before calling it a night.
“Thank you for the incredibly warm welcome (Vegas),” said Harmon. “It’s been so much fun.”
