Pancho’s Mexican Restaurant, located in Downtown Summerlin, will celebrate Cinco de Mayo with a live mariachi band and drink specials in its cantina on Friday, May 5.
Pancho’s Cinco de Mayo celebration will feature a live mariachi band playing festive tunes from noon – 4 p.m.
Guests can toast the day with $3 off house and flavored margaritas, well cocktails and house wines from 2 – 5 p.m.
The special offer includes house favorites such as the popular “Naughty” margarita, made with Campo Azul tequila, lemon-lime mix, triple sec and a float of Grand Marnier; the “Summerlin Sunshine” margarita, made with Campo Azul tequila, lemon-lime mix and triple sec shaken with Chambord, peach Schnapps, orange juice and cranberry juice; or any Pancho’s flavored margaritas including strawberry, mango or pomegranate among others.
Drinks can be enjoyed with Mexican cuisine such as chips and house-made guacamole; artichoke and jalapeños con queso; or tinga poblana, a traditional Mexican dish from the city of Puebla in Central México where the historic Cinco de Mayo battle was fought.
This dish consists of tender, slow-roasted pork cooked with roasted mild California chiles, tomatoes, chipotle and Pancho’s special herbs and spices.
