Distill-Your Local Bar, Vegas locals’ “home away from home,” is where to celebrate blarney stones, shamrocks, leprechauns, and all things green on St. Patrick’s Day Friday, March 17.
Later in the month, Distill Rainbow will host a cocktail pairing dinner on Thursday, March 30, starting at 7 p.m.
Starting at 11 a.m., all Distills will serve green-tinted drinks made with Jameson whiskey, Guinness beer, and the Irish Car Bomb specialty cocktail. Food specials for the Irish and honorary Irish include corned beef and cabbage. The party continues with a DJ and costume contests. Open 24 hours a day/seven days a week, Distill offers comfortably priced, house-made cocktails and a delicious culinary twist on classic tavern fare served in the bar area or dining room.
Spring will have sprung, and time to celebrate with a fantastic evening. The Cocktail Pairing dinner will be held at Distill Rainbow, 6945 S. Rainbow Blvd., on Thursday, March 30.
The five-course dinner with Farewell Toast will include cocktails made with Ketel One Botanicals Vodka, Bulleit Frontier Bourbon, Tanqueray Gin, Don Julio Reposado Tequila, Bailey’s Irish Cream, and Don Julio 70 Tequila.
The first course will begin the dinner with shrimp and lobster dumplings (miso ginger Consommé, Schezwan Chili oil, puffed rice, toasted sesame, and chives). Smoked pork belly topped with barbecue sauce and served with Thumbelina carrots, candy stripe beets, green apple and jalapeno jelly, parsnips, and toasted almonds continues the delicacies.
Taste buds will be primed for the third course of pan-roasted Chilean Seasbass served with Pesto Whipped Ricotta, Charcoal activated gnocchi, creole brunt butter, Romanesco, and fried sage. With the delightful pairing, the fourth course will showcase Barbacoa Short Rib Grenade includes chicharrónes, Avo Cream, charred esquites, pickled shallots, jicama, and cilantro chimichurri. The sweet tooth will enjoy the Campfire Smores Tart delighting the palate with milk chocolate, toasted whipped marshmallows, and toasted graham crackers crumble.
The dinner will end with the Farewell Toast of dark chocolate truffle, with dark chocolate, espresso, gold flake, and Maldron sea salt. Tickets are $115 per person and can be purchased on Eventbrite or from one of the bartenders at Distill Rainbow.
