Fulfilling the need for a more refined and curated wine & spirits retail experience for greater Las Vegas, DB Wine & Spirits recently opened in the heart of Summerlin at 3330 S Hualapai Way.
Offering some 950 wine selections and 1500 spirits, the DB collection is driven by their staff of certified sommeliers, who also lead weekly wine tastings and cocktail samplings. DB Wine & Spirits also features a cigar humidor with over 200 global selections.
How refined is DB Wine & Spirits?
DB–short for Drink Boutique–offers an extensive selection of temperature-controlled wines including unique Napa bottles such as Dalla Valle Wines, Scarecrow, FUTO Estate, and of course Screaming Eagle (including a bottle currently priced at $6000).
The most unique International offering is Guigal’s iconic La La wines from Rhone, France which recently graced the cover of Wine Spectator.
On the spirits side, offerings include Forbes’ most collectable bottle – Dalmore Cask Curation 3 bottle Sherry Cask Maturation priced at $60,000 as well as Hardy, Remy Martin 300, Glenmorangie Single Cask, The World Whiskey Society Macallan 32, Bruichladdich 30, and others, secured in a bulletproof case. A strong selection of hand craft spirits, amaros, liqueurs and allocated bottlings round out the choices at DB, augmented by an array of bitters, garnishes, mixers and more for the avid home bartender.
Drink Boutique’s robust Bourbon selection boasts 180 curated labels including Henry McKenna 10 Year Single Barrel (A previous Whiskey of the Year winner) as well as Old Fashioned Copper and The Last Drop (both priced at a cool $7000).
“A large number of our wines are typically only found on restaurant lists–if anywhere,” says Juan Martinez, Drink Boutique’s Sommelier. “However, we make a point of pricing everything very fairly for the value.”
“Considering how Las Vegas attracts such refined tastes, we found the landscape for retail wine & spirits to be lacking,” says Drink Boutique General Manager Bladen Ficarrotta. “Basically, we took the opportunity to own the kind of store we’d want to shop at.”
