New Lineup Features Beloved Classics, Musical Megahits and Groundbreaking Shows Direct from the Broadway Stage
Las Vegas’ Heart of the Arts, The Smith Center for the Performing Arts is proud to present its newest lineup of Broadway productions for its 2023-2024 season of its highly popular Toyota Broadway Las Vegas Series.
Sponsored by Southern Nevada Toyota Dealers with University Medical Center as a season supporter, the new season features eight Broadway stage productions direct from Broadway with a collective 20 Tony Awards, 16 Drama Desk Awards and 11 Laurence Olivier Awards.

The season begins in August with BEETLEJUICE, the hilarious musical comedy based on Tim Burton’s dearly beloved film, and continues with the triumphant return of LES MISÉRABLES in September followed by the inspiring musical story of The Temptations AIN’T TOO PROUD in October.
The iconic production CHICAGO, featuring the thrilling choreography of Bob Fosse, ushers in the new year in January before the time-honored musical comedy FUNNY GIRL in March.
The heartwarming COME FROM AWAY returns to The Smith Center by popular demand in May, followed by the Bob Dylan musical GIRL FROM THE NORTH COUNTRY and a new production of the high-flying musical classic PETER PAN in June.

BEETLEJUICE

He earned his stripes on Broadway… now the ghost-with-the-most is coming to Las Vegas.
It’s showtime! Based on Tim Burton’s dearly beloved film, this hilarious musical tells the story of Lydia Deetz, a strange and unusual teenager whose whole life changes when she meets a recently deceased couple and a demon with a thing for stripes. With an irreverent book, an astonishing set, and a score that’s out of this Netherworld, BEETLEJUICE is “SCREAMINGLY GOOD FUN!” (Variety). And under its uproarious surface (six feet under, to be exact), it’s a remarkably touching show about family, love and making the most of every Day-O!

LES MISÉRABLES

The adventure begins when PETER PAN and his mischievous fairy sidekick, Tinker Bell, visit the nursery of the Darling children late one night. With a sprinkle of pixie dust and a few happy thoughts, the children are taken on a magical journey they will never forget.
