Myron’s at The Smith Center has refilled its concert calendar with a world-class batch of incoming acts.
The lineup features something for every taste: jazz favorites the Steve Gadd Band, Michael Kaeshammer, Landau Eugene Murphy Jr., Acoustic Alchemy and the Bruce Harper Big Band with Naomi Mauro; Broadway stars Seth Rudetsky & Bonnie Milligan; Latin jazz great Poncho Sanchez; fast-rising U.K. guitarist Mike Dawes; and Vegas icon Clint Holmes.

Clint Holmes: Summer Breeze

Mike Dawes

An Englishman known for composing, arranging and performing multiple parts simultaneously on a single guitar, Mike Dawes is regarded as one of the world’s most creative modern fingerstyle guitarists with a repertoire spanning original viral videos and popular arrangements, alongside mainstream chart success performing with Justin Hayward of The Moody Blues.
Opening for Dawes will be captivating acoustic guitarist Christie Lenee, who has shared stages with the likes of Melissa Etheridge, Tim Reynolds (Dave Matthews Band) and Amy Ray (Indigo Girls).
Landau Eugene Murphy Jr.: Album Release Concert

America’s Got Talent winner Landau Eugene Murphy Jr. returns to Myron’s for the world-premiere performance of his first album of all-original material. I’m Not Messing Around, written in the Great American Songbook style, was produced by Rob Hegel (Air Supply) and recorded in Las Vegas with some of the city’s top studio musicians, who are set to join Murphy onstage.
Bruce Harper Big Band with Naomi Maura: Summer Vacations & Summer Love

For decades as both a leader and a sideman, conguero Poncho Sanchez has stirred up a fiery stew of straight-ahead jazz, gritty soul music and infectious melodies and rhythms from a variety of Latin American and South American sources.
