Landini’s will celebrate its grand opening on National Pizza Day with $1 pizza slices
Founded in the heart of San Diego’s Little Italy, Landini’s Pizzeria is bringing its signature New York-style pizza and flavorful pasta dishes to Las Vegas at 9440 W. Russell Rd., just west of I-215. Landini’s will celebrate its grand opening on National Pizza Day, Tuesday, Feb. 9, with $1 pizza slices and a carryout pizza special, available all day.
“We are thrilled to bring Landini’s Pizzeria to Las Vegas, which has become somewhat of a second home to us,” said Leo Landini, founder of Landini’s Pizzeria. “We look forward to serving our new friends and neighbors and becoming a neighborhood gathering place for friends, families and coworkers.”
Famous for its New York pizza, sold whole and by the slice, Landini’s is true to its slogan, “It’s more than just pizza,” with an expansive Italian menu that includes panini sandwiches, salads, hot wings, and an assortment of pasta dishes, including carbonara, ravioli and lasagna. Landini’s also serves beer, wine, house-made sangria and mimosas.
The new Landini’s Pizzeria is the largest to date, at 1,386 square feet, accommodating up to 30 patrons. The original Landini’s was founded in 2009 in San Diego’s Little Italy, a vibrant neighborhood famous for exceptional Italian cuisine, and a second Landini’s opened in 2018 in San Diego’s Point Loma.
To celebrate their grand opening, Landini’s is offering $1 individual pizza slices for guests dining in the restaurant. The eatery will also have a special takeout offer for those looking to enjoy Landini’s in the comfort of their homes or offices. For any 18-inch pizza purchased, guests will receive a one or two-topping pizza of equal or lesser value for free.
Landini’s Pizzeria is family-owned by Landini, a Florence, Italy native, and his wife, Christine Landini, a San Diego native. Using fresh produce and hand-selected meats from trusted butchers, they make their pizzas with truly local flavors. Signature pizzas, available whole and by the slice, include the Sopranos Pie, topped with pepperoni, sausage and meatballs; Mexican Pie, with bacon, chorizo, onion, jalapenos, pepperoni and cannellini beans; La Picante Pie, served with no sauce and layered with ricotta cheese, pepperoni, jalapenos and pineapple; Rustica Pie, with Brussels sprouts, pancetta and balsamic glaze; and more.
Landini’s also serves vegan and vegetarian pizzas, including the Michelangelo Pie, topped with spinach, olives, green bell peppers, mushrooms and fresh tomatoes; Tartufi Pie, served without marinara sauce and layered with truffle oil, mushrooms and arugula; Vegan Pie, with black olives, artichokes, spinach, tomatoes and onions; and more.
Not to be missed are Landini’s handcrafted pastas, paninis and calzones. Favorites include the carbonara with Italian bacon, eggs and parmesan; the meatball roll wrapped with mozzarella and ricotta cheeses; and the Italiano panini with salami, ham, tomatoes and lettuce. Traditional Italian desserts include homemade tiramisu and cheesecake.
Landini’s is open from 11 a.m. to 9 p.m. daily, with indoor and outdoor seating for on-site dining, in addition to takeout and third-party delivery through Grubhub and Postmates. Hours are subject to change. Landini’s is in full adherence to government health and safety mandates set by the State of Nevada, which include full mask requirements for employees and guests, and strict social distancing.
