Register and Attend Anytime during Dec. 19-23 Camp
With schools closing for winter break on Dec. 19, some parents – particularly working parents – are wondering what to do with their children during this time.
Known for its before and after school programs, Boys & Girls Clubs of Southern Nevada is offering a one-week “Winter Break Camp” that combines the fun of camp with the nonprofit’s mission to help youth – especially the most vulnerable – reach their full potential as productive, caring and responsible citizens.
Winter Break Camp is Monday, Dec. 19 through Friday, Dec. 23, 2022, from 7 a.m. to 6 p.m.
Winter Break Camp will feature themed days and activities, including performing arts, sports and recreation, and STEM (science, technology, engineering and math) projects. Programming is designed to give youth a well-balanced week to keep their minds sharp and have fun in a safe and supportive environment.
Breakfast and lunch are served at select Clubs and included in the camp cost.
The camp provides the perfect opportunity for families and youth who are new to the Club experience to learn what Clubs have to offer at no cost to them, with camp and 2022 Club membership fees waived.
For current members, the camp fee would be $80 for the week. Financial assistance is available for qualifying families. (Note: annual membership resumes for everyone on Jan. 3, 2023 – $35 per year for ages 6-12 and $20 per year for ages 13-18.)

Focused on three main impact areas – Academic Success, Healthy Lifestyles and Good Character & Leadership – Clubhouses provide a safe, supportive place to go (both physically and mentally), life-changing opportunities, and the chance for youth to learn, grow, and become who they want to be.
Serving nearly 1,500 youth each day between the ages of 6-18, Clubs operate Monday through Friday before and after school, with extended hours over school breaks such as spring break, winter break and over the summer.
