Automotive, Entertainment and Music Experience Slated for Las Vegas Motor Speedway, Oct. 22
Coming off of a record-breaking inaugural event in Tokyo, Japan FuelFest is set for its first-ever appearance in Las Vegas on Saturday, Oct. 22, at Las Vegas Motor Speedway (7000 Las Vegas Blvd.) in Las Vegas, just 20 minutes off The Strip.
Fuji Speedway in Tokyo hosted a sold-out crowd of 33,000 fans, becoming the largest automotive event ever hosted in Japan. The show featured 2,200 cars of all makes and models, drag racing, drifting, parade laps, VIP experiences and special guest appearances from Cody Walker, co-founder of FuelFest and brother of late actor Paul Walker, and Sung Kang, Korean American actor known widely for his role as Han Lue in the Fast & Furious movie franchise.
FuelFest blends the enthusiast’s passion for the automotive world with celebrities, live music, food, art and more. Following successful shows across the nation and overseas, FuelFest brings the exhilarating experience to Las Vegas as the sixth stop on the global tour.
The action-packed event will feature more than 600 custom, exotic, rare, and exclusive cars and trucks plus a massive live-action drift course and Yokohama Festival Stage on the speedway showgrounds. FuelFest is teaming up with Vegas Drift for nonstop action on the drift course with a 16-driver competition and ride-alongs throughout the day.
Fans can get the ride of a lifetime in drift cars alongside pro drivers – sign-ups for ride-alongs taking place on show day.
The stage will feature live performances all day and into the night from Matt Steffinana, Benzi, Purge and Jimmy Buenaventura. Spectators can also expect numerous well-known sponsors, each set with interactive exhibits and booths. FuelFest will have fun activities for fans to participate in, chances to win prizes and get featured online.
A portion of the event’s proceeds benefits Reach Out WorldWide (ROWW), the non-profit charity founded by Paul Walker and continued by his brother, Cody Walker. The organization was founded in 2010 by the late actor/producer after a massive earthquake devastated Haiti and Walker was inspired to organize a relief team that responded to the disaster. ROWW’s mission is to fill the gap between the availability of skilled resources in post-disaster situations. As of 2021, ROWW has raised a total of $160,000 through its FuelFest events to benefit those in need.
“We’re so ecstatic to be bringing FuelFest to Sin City this fall,” said Cody Walker, FuelFest Co-Founder and Reach Out WorldWide CEO. “With Las Vegas being so full of experiences, we hope to provide a new, lasting event for the community full of exclusive cars, exhilarating experiences and of course, tons of speed. Get your tickets now and I’ll see you on Oct. 22.”
In 2022, FuelFest has made its way to West Palm Beach, Dallas-Fort Worth, Los Angeles, Salt Lake City and across the ocean to Tokyo as the biggest car event to hit Japan. FuelFest will end the 2022 tour with a final stop in Phoenix. The auto experience has also confirmed their 2023 date back in Tokyo for its next global tour.
Gates for the Las Vegas FuelFest will open to the public from 2 to 9 p.m. on Oct. 22. Event information, car registration and tickets can be found now at www.FuelFest.com, as well as on social media channels, including Facebook, Instagram and TikTok.
