A day after signing a contract to become the new quarterback of the Pittsburgh Steelers, NFL superstar Russell Wilson was spotted on Saturday night sharing an intimate date night dinner with his wife, Grammy Award-winning singer Ciara, at Lionfish Modern Coastal Cuisine at Pendry San Diego in Gaslamp Quarter.
The celebrity couple entered Lionfish on Saturday night looking stylish with Ciara in a colorful dress and Wilson dressed in all black.
Dining alone, they shared an array of signature dishes crafted by acclaimed local chef, JoJo Ruiz including the lobster “homard,” a salmon flight, bluefin toro-Baja nigiri and a selection of the restaurant’s specialty sushi rolls such as the Bezerk, Surf and Turf and Bonecrusha.
The couple topped off their low-key dinner date with an indulgent churro ice cream sandwich for dessert before departing just before midnight.
The dazzling couple, who own a home in San Diego’s Rancho Santa Fe neighborhood, recently welcomed their third daughter together, Amora Princess, who was born in December.
Wilson and Ciara were in Pittsburgh on Friday to sign his new one-year contract to become the Steelers new quarterback. Wilson, who won a Super Bowl with the Seattle Seahawks and most recently played for the Denver Broncos, and the multi-platinum singer, Ciara, were married in 2016 and live part-time in the San Diego area along with their children, 3 month old daughter Amora, 4 year old son Win and 4 year old daughter Sienna, as well as Ciara’s 9 year old son, Future, whose father is rapper Future.
