House of Vegas Pride, the Only Multicultural Pride Festival Bringing Unity Into the Community, Is Back This Summer
House of Vegas Pride (HOVP) is back to host the largest multicultural festival in Las Vegas. The event is curated by owner and creator Nicole Wiliams, an openly gay black woman, activist, entrepreneur, and Las Vegas Native. House of Vegas Pride is also powered by The Social Influence Foundation, a 501c3 Nonprofit Organization.
The event is produced each year to uplift the voices within the LGBTQ+ community while providing national exposure for nonprofit organizations to host fundraisers.
From August 18 through August 21, the HOVP festival will be a nonstop event from pool parties, a day party fashion show and brunch, a music festival, Summer Pride Ball, and more.
House of Vegas Pride has been producing events since the fall of 2018, becoming the “First Urban, Diverse and Heterosexual Las Vegas Pride Block Party of its kind.” recognized by the City of Las Vegas Mayor Carolyn G. Goodman, Congresswoman Dina Titus, and US Senator Catherine Cortez-Masto. HOVP has also received many awards and recognition over the years, including two Proclamations from the City of Las Vegas, Clark County, North Las Vegas, and awards from Nevada State Legislature Officials.
House of Vegas Pride has become a sought-after event year after year that strengthens the cultural connection while promoting unity, nonconformity, health, and wellness and providing activities for all to enjoy. It’s a party with a purpose!
The official summer pride festival is a four-day nonstop event, including the Mashup Party with four LGBTQ+ DJs, Pool Party at Wet N’Wild, Fashion Show, and Brunch featuring Beyonce’s designer, special guest hosts, a Summer Pride Ball, and industry night parties. A portion of the proceeds provides resources for free HIV testing throughout the year and the organization’s House of Love Resource job fair sponsored by MGM International Resorts. House of Vegas Pride is not only the most prominent event that continues to grow – the resources and community outreach are just as extensive.
