Las Vegas media relations professional will discuss strategies for increasing media exposure for your business
Las Vegas public relations expert and founder of ImageWords Communications, Ruth Furman, will join this year’s NAWBO (National Association of Women Business Owners) Southern Nevada Personal Branding Workshop panel on June 28 at iHeartMedia Las Vegas. The event address is: 425 Fremont Street, Suite 220, and it will be held from 11:30 a.m. to 1 p.m.
Furman will join three other leading Las Vegas businesswomen to discuss personal branding, and how to leverage your personal brand to grow your business.
The other panelists for the workshop will be: TV host, speaker and media trainer, Patranya Bhoolsuwan; TV host/producer and on-camera media coach, Maria Ngo, and CEO and founder of Neon Public Relations, Megan Fazio.
“I love the concept of this June workshop and appreciate the mix of panelists,” Furman said. “I feel that so many women in business can truly benefit from helpful insights and a gentle nudge to put themselves out there. It’s a privilege for me to share my stories and examples.”
Furman has worked with local and national media for more than 25 years. Her boutique firm helps companies, brands and individuals share their stories through the media.

Portions of ticket proceeds will benefit this month’s NAWBO spotlight nonprofit, Win-Win Entertainment, a Las Vegas-based 501c3 that arranges in-person and virtual visits by entertainers, athletes and celebrities for children undergoing treatment in hospitals.
