Las Vegas is a world-famous destination for entertainment, business, and tourism.

A city like Las Vegas, where people from all around the world like to visit, has internet needs that are not similar to other cities of the same size.  Tourists, residents, and businesspersons, all have to rely on the internet service providers available across the city that provides high-speed internet and reliable services. This implies that Las Vegas has a lot to do in terms of providing internet.

Types of internet providers in Las Vegas

DSL and Cable broadband are one of the most commonly used technologies to transmit data. Both of these are widely available across the city and the fiber network is still in the growth phase, which has started providing services in some of the parts of the city too.

Most people have the option of choosing from more than three providers in the city. For residents living on the far outskirts of the city, their best bet lies within the satellite, cellular broadband, and fixed wireless as the best option.

Most famous ISPs in the US like Spectrum, AT&T, and Xfinity do not offer high-speed internet in most of Las Vegas, which makes it even further difficult to find reliable internet service. However, we have done all the difficult work and have rounded up some of the best internet providers in Las Vegas to help you choose the one that best suits your needs.

The best internet providers in Las Vegas are mentioned below:

  • Cox Communications
  • CenturyLink
  • Viasat

Cox

Cox communication is a well-known name in the telecommunication industry, especially if you are looking for high-speed internet and Cable TV services. It offers some of the best bundling plans, which include internet speeds ranging from 10 Mbps to 940 Mbps, and these plans start from as low as $29.99 a month for the low tier packages. But, as you go up for higher speeds, Cox can be more expensive than rivals.

Other than offering such exquisite bundles, Cox also offers a wide range of internet speeds to choose from. This lets you tailor your internet speed requirement and only pay for what you need.

CenturyLink

CenturyLink is the one-stop solution to all your and your family’s entertainment needs. It helps you browse, download, and stream from multiple devices altogether. In case, you live in a big family, where all the members have different types of internet usage and most of them use the internet simultaneously. In such situations, most of ISPs trip over, losing the ability to maintain high speeds. But, CenturyLink Fiber internet offers up to 940 Mbps of internet speed, costing up to $65 a month is a solution to all your problems.

With CenturyLink, you get free installation, which usually costs up to $99 with other providers, and also a free modem. It also locks the price for life, which means it keeps your costs the same for the rest of your life, as long as you keep their services. This is a piece of great news because most ISPs have the habit of increasing the prices after a year.

Viasat

While the biggest selling point of modern ISPs is high-speed internet at affordable prices, lightning speeds are not available in most areas due to the topography of the city. Due to such reasons, it is not easy to find DSL or cable internet in most areas. However, satellite internet is the best option in such cases. Viasat comes in handy, which does not offer lightning speeds but provides sufficient bandwidth required for most household usage. Its 100% serviceability is the biggest advantage, all you need is to set up a satellite dish, which has a clear view of the sky.

It is lauded as one of the top internet providers across Las Vegas for offering unlimited data with good speeds at cheaper pricing. Internet speed plans start at as low as 12 Mbps and go up to 30 Mbps (highest among the satellite providers). Price ranges between $50 a month up to $100. Other than the internet, all other entertainment services like Cable TV and phone can be covered through this provider. This bundling option makes your life easier by charging all the services under one bill, hence, saving you money.

Final Words

Choosing a new provider is never an easy decision to make, especially in a big city like Las Vegas. However, you do not have to waste much more time thinking of which provider would best suit you as we have discussed some of the best internet providers in the post above.
